Gnocchi is an adorable 3 year old Goldendoodle with a goofy personality 🤪 One of his biggest challenges has been his territorial aggression. It’s been tough for his family, but they’re committed to helping him feel calmer and more confident in shared spaces.

With Bark Busters’ guidance, we’ve been using our techniques to provide better leadership, and we’re already seeing some positive changes! Gnocchi is starting to trust his family more, and we’re learning how to communicate with him in a way he understands.

It’s a team effort and whole family is dedicated to his progress, and we’re excited to keep building on these results.

Play ?.... or is a fight about to occur ? 💥
It can mean anything and everything BUT play.
There are a few signals that are misread by us.
The most common is that a wagging tail means a happy dog and that bowing dogs want to play....of course these two things can mean happiness and wanting to play but these communication signals can also be shown (either separately or together) when there IS or is about to be a very real issue that can affect your dogs (or another dogs) safety.
Context.
Ears.
Eyes.
Face.
Stiffness in gait.
Leg position.
and what happened just before...are all good ways to help you decipher exactly what is about to happen.

Je viens de terminer une superbe séance de suivi avec Bronx et sa famille ! 🎯 Il montre déjà de meilleures manières en laisse—il marche calmement sans tirer—et sa famille est désormais bien équipée pour gérer les aboiements à la porte. 🚪🐕

Les propriétaires de Hank (croisé Border Collie et Cattle Dog) étaient dépassés par son anxiété de séparation : il aboyait et se stressait dès qu’il était seul. En cherchant des solutions, ils ont trouvé une multitude de conseils contradictoires, ce qui les laissait confus et sans réponse claire. 🐶 🐾

Ils avaient l’impression de perdre leur liberté, car ils devaient toujours prendre en compte l'anxiété de Hank dans leurs plans.

Quand je les ai rencontrés, je leur ai expliqué que l’anxiété de séparation demande du temps, mais aussi des techniques simples et efficaces. Nous avons mis en place des étapes adaptées, et aujourd'hui, les premiers résultats commencent !

Il faudra encore un peu de patience avant que Hank puisse rester seul sans stress, mais il est sur la bonne voie grâce à un peu de leadership. 💪🐾 Un grand bravo à ses humains pour leur engagement et leur amour !
