Lors d'une mission de sauvetage, nous sommes tombés sur Youki. Elle cherchait de la nourriture quand nous l'avons vue se faire chasser par un livreur. Elle était très facile à vivre et nous n'avons jamais eu de problème pour l'attraper, elle a même sauté dans la voiture comme si elle avait toujours fait ça ! Personne dans le quartier ne savait rien d'elle, nous avons donc supposé qu'elle avait été récemment abandonnée.

YOUKI MAINTENANT :

- Aime faire des câlins et des bisous
- Extrêmement douce et affectueuse
- Sera un formidable partenaire d'aventure
- Motivé par la nourriture

Youki est un chien adorable, attentionné, fort et familial. Lorsqu'elle s'attachera à vous, vous deviendrez son compagnon pour la vie. Elle est actuellement dans une maison avec des enfants et bien que cela lui convienne parfaitement, nous préférerions que les enfants soient un peu plus âgés et/ou qu'ils connaissent bien les chiens car Youki peut parfois jouer à la morsure !

Ce qu'elle doit travailler :

- Marche en laisse et bonnes manières
- Protéger sa maison
- Avoir peur si on la réveille dans son sommeil
- Apprendre à se détendre, car elle est souvent très alerte.

During a rescue mission, we stumbled upon Youki. She was looking for food when we saw her being chased out by a delivery boy. She was very easy going and we never faced an issue catching her, she even jumped into the car as if she has always done that! No one in the area knew anything about her so we assumed she had recently been dumped.

YOUKI NOW:

- Loves giving hugs and kisses
- Extremely sweet and loving
- Will be an amazing adventure partner
- Food motivated

Youki is a lovely, caring, strong & family-oriented dog. When she bonds with you, you will be her human for life. She is currently in a home with children and although that suits her fine, we would prefer the children to be a little bit older and/or dog-savvy as Youki can sometimes play-nip!

What she needs to work on:

- Leash walking & manners
- Protecting her home
- Being scared if you wake her up in her sleep
- Learning to relax, as she is often very alert

Hank has been through a lot in his young life. He has experienced awful abuse at the hands of those who were supposed to love and care for him back in Lebanon over and over again and is now, finally, decompressing the way he should have.

He has made leaps and strides with the help of a trainer and his amazing foster mom who calls him her good boy. Hank is misunderstood, not harmful. He is so eager to please, loves his walks, is wonderful with other dogs during proper interactions. He can be fearful of humans... but who wouldn't be after what he has been through?

Hank's adopter will need to be consistent with his healing process. He will require an adopter who can understand his needs, personality and body language easily.

His ideal family would work from home most of the time, living in a house with a fenced yard. He would even love to have another balanced dog as a brother or sister!

Hank a vécu beaucoup de malheurs dans sa jeune vie. Il a subi de terribles abus de la part de ceux qui étaient censés l'aimer et prendre soin de lui au Liban encore et encore. Il est maintenant, enfin, en train de décompresser comme il aurait dû le faire.

Il a fait des pas géants avec l'aide d'un entraîneur et de son incroyable maman adoptive qui l'appelle son bon garçon. Hank est mal compris, pas nuisible. Il est tellement désireux de plaire, aime ses promenades, est merveilleux avec les autres chiens lors d'interactions appropriées. Il peut avoir peur des humains... mais qui ne le serait pas après tout ce qu'il a vécu?

L'adoptant de Hank devra être cohérent avec son processus de guérison. Il aura besoin d'un adoptant capable de comprendre facilement ses besoins, sa personnalité et son language corporel.

Sa famille idéale travaillerait à domicile la plupart du temps, avec une maison et jardin clôturé et un chien pour compagnie.

Snoopy • Female • Lab mix • 1.5 years old • Medium-large • Good with male dogs in the home, no cats📍 Montreal, QC

Snoopy is so quiet and calm, she loves to take big naps after walks and her sleep is so deep that she snores. She also snores when the belly rubs are too good. She was pulling a lot on the first walks, but there were so many things to sniff and see. She’s learning to stop pulling and she’s getting better each walk (except when she sees a squirrel, because you know, squirrels). She’s never far from us since she doesn’t like to be alone, we sometimes forget she’s here since she’s so quiet. She’s less shy and we’re discovering her personality, she’s playful, loves to play fetch or play alone and chew her favourite toys. We are just amazed by her peaceful vibe and her adaptability. She’ll make a family so happy, things are so simple with her! She’s the best🥰

Snoopy is absolutely a charm with people and male dogs. She’s reactive to female dogs in the home but is now meeting them during walks without aggression. She has a prey drive, so a home without cats would be best.

We are seeking a home where she is the only pet or with a male brother to play with which she would love.
