6 week evaluations tomorrow!! Who's excited?! I know I am! It's probably one of my favourite weeks!!
Part of my own learning journey is to get together with a mentor (or a few!) and look at each puppy in detail. We talk about their merits & their faults (because every dog has them!), talk about what we like and don't like, and compare them to our written standard. While each puppy is raised with the same love, attention and enrichment, as breeders it's our job to spot those fine differences that will help improve our breed in the future.
The next 2.5 weeks are very busy, and a little bit stressful!!!
The puppies are all doing so well! They are pooping in their litter boxes 99% of the time, and making huge efforts to p*e there too. They are manding at the gate, full of energy, and getting some good lessons from mama!!! Puppies will be introduced to a wing this week, thanks to my mentor Til 🥰!
