CARO has released an updated Master Handbook that is effective April 1, 2025. If you're planning on doing the next Virtual Trial ensure that you give it a read and are familiar with the new signs.

The CARO Master Working Handbook (MWH) 2023 is a brand new handbook! It contains all of the rule and regulations for CARO Working.

The girls had a fantastic weekend at the High Tails Pet Resort CARO Trial!

Fable earned her Advanced title and 1 Excellent Q! She was awarded the square peg in a round hole award 🤣. She’s so high energy that sometimes obedience isn’t the right fit but she gave maximum effort all weekend!

Story earned 2 Versatility Qs! This was exciting because I’ve never done versatility and we didn’t know quite a few of the signs. Story gave me her best effort and we both really loved versatility! She was also awarded the Unicorn award for performing a roll over instead of a down 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣.

Legend is only 6 months old so I was originally going to run her FEO in all her rounds but one of her rounds was going so smoothly we went for it. She scored a 194 and placed 3rd. She also earned a Unicorn award for being a perfect puppy.

We had lots of fun, learned new things and enjoyed seeing our friends from Alberta again. 🥰🐾🐾🐾

Looking to keep your puppy busy? This is my current favourite enrichment toy. There’s little stuffed squirrel balls all with 1 treat under them. It keeps Legend busy - working her brain and dexterity. We switch between this one and a snuffle mat in the mornings so I can get some work done.

My litter of puppies working on their crate training. To start we feed all meals in the crates plus special treats like bones. I open the crate doors BEFORE the puppies are finished so there’s no feeling of being trapped. The crates have also been in their puppy pen without doors for weeks. This makes the crates feel like a safe and good place. Remember to go slow and keep things positive for your puppy!
