This amazing ,kind, stubborn, can't say no woman needs to be appreciated and respected by all.
We have and will continue to support Nancy in anyway we can. As we have stated many times before we see first hand what she does including, missing family time, ignoring her health, spending her own money and working to the point of exhaustion, but still she goes on.
Over the years she has had some amazing people stand along side of her to those we say thank you

This year, 2023, is our 10th anniversary as a rescue.
We would celebrate, but there's too much to do. Too many kittens, too little money and time and space.
As we approach the end of this anniversary year, I am reminded on a daily basis, that we cannot help them all, rescue them all, save them all...even though we want to. And we want to so much.
We are also reminded often that we are less than perfect. That we "suck" as a rescue. And maybe we do in some ways. But if we cannot help every kitten, every cat, we can and do help as many as we possibly can, and stretch as far as we can.
We may disappoint people. Annoy people. Anger some. We have been yelled at, threatened, denigrated, abused, had death threats, and more.
But we keep on trying. Trying to help as many kittens as we can to the best of our ability. And will keep on trying for as long as possible.
We are incredibly grateful to the kind, generous, dedicated, supportive people we have met along the way. You and the kittens are the reason we keep at it.
And with your help, we have so far, rescued 2,479 kittens and cats.
10 years. Onward we go.

We are so lucky to have some of the kindest customers 🥰
Today Mr. & Mrs. Boom came in to inform us that their sweet girl had passed away and that they appreciated all of our help over the years, next the General as we like to call him (Greg General) came in to inform us we would not be seeing him much as his boy was gone. All were at peace but of course sad. Thank you for letting us be a part of your lives for years and we hold you to the promise you will stop in to say hi from time to time

The weather is changing ❄️ and soon those feral fur friends will be looking for a place to go.

For $20, the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society is providing these insulated shelters to protect our little friends from the harsh weather. If you would like to help by providing a safe place to go this winter, please give our Lennox and Addington Animal Centre a call at 613-354-2492.
