✨ Holiday Closure Notice ✨

Swift Clipps Grooming will be closed until January 5th as we take a short break to spend time with family over the holidays.

We have a little doggy spotlight today!!!

Meet Maverick!

Mav started to come to me July of 2024. He was riddled with anxiety. Pooped in tbe crate or on the table when very nervous , and was petrified. I wanted to do everything right for him and his mom was okay with me sending him home wet.

I dont love to not complete the groom in full but at the end of the day I am fear free groomer and I want these pups to have the best experience and to work on a relationship with the dog to gain their trust. It was summer time so it wasnt a big deal for him to be wet!

Ever since we have worked together every 8 weeks to build trust and confidence. Session by session he was getting better! I started to introduce the dryer little by little.

Sometimes we had set backs and I couldn't do as good of a job as the time before but this is very normal. I still just did what I could and went with how he was feeling and doing.

I am happy to say that today he had his best grooming experience yet and I was able to do the best cut I have on him since coming!

I purchase a small powered brush dryer from Amazon and was able to get his head and face better than ever before as he wasnt as scared!!

I did up a little photo collage to show what he looked like after his first every groom here and what his groom came out like as of today!

I am so proud of this little guy!! 🥰🥰
