And that’s a wrap. Last foal of the year and even tho she was an Oopsie (yes that is her name, lol) we couldn’t be more thrilled. Dior and Fendi are growing like crazy and so sweet. Little Miss Nalani is constantly trying to give me a nervous break down. Forever getting herself into trouble and hurt. Yup she’s the problem child. I swear trying to kill herself. But we keep pushing thru cause she is so sweet.

-30 morning feed. Especially Thankful for my Gorilla cart to do the morning grub deliveries in this weather. The mares I think are thankful too as it gets to them a lot quicker, lol!!

Curious if anyone can answer a question for me? At what age would a horse express the roan gene? Reason I’m asking is our one mare Is getting massive amounts of white speckled throughout her coat. She has been tested negative for Sabino but not been tested for roan. She turned 8 this year. Is that even possible? Her sire is Roan.
