Strive Dogs Flyball Students killed it at Rocket Relay's Blast Off Tournament. Congratulations to everyone who had a very successful debut! Everyone else is looking like seasoned professionals out there. Way to go!

Driving home from a great weekend. Thank you Bonnie Deschenes and Jacinta Solano for joining us. Huge thank you to RAF and OK9s for hosting a great tournament. We even won some raffle prizes. Super proud of Offer, he started the year with giving me kisses in the lane rather than getting in a competitive zone! He'd run but wouldn't throw his whole heart into it. Today he ran in start position in his first 14sec team run and was really into racing the other dogs all weekend. Some dogs are just a slow burn, and then it clicks. As frustrating as they can be at times, be patient and give them the time they need to develop mentally for the sport you choose.

Rocket Relay is having a separate raffle for this amazing Yeti cooler. Tickets $5 each or 5 for $20. Winner will be announced Sunday Aug 18 at 3pm at the tournament and/or via email. Winner chooses colour and will ship direct.

Thank you to the 2 American teams Full Tilt and Glacier Shakers Flyball Club who have entered blastoff. There is still time to enter. I've heard from multiple reputable sources there will be a grace period and that it's unlikely the guards will even know or be trained to implement the new rules. Or just go get your paperwork done.

Kinetic Flyball Team, you knocked it out of the park with your exceptional tournament this past weekend! The venue was fantastic, fully air-conditioned, and perfectly located. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence shone through in every aspect of the event, from the generous welcome gifts to the thrilling raffle. We're already marking our calendars for next year's tournament, and we can't wait to see what you have in store for us!

Home and rested from my week in Belgium. 6 days of teaching with 3 different groups makes me tired lol Thank you to everyone who attended. It was great to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones. Also nice to see dogs that attended last year show huge improvement and see pups get fully trained from what their owners learned last year. Huge thank you to Michel Roziers and Matthys Patrik for doing a phenomenal job organizing a long event and for all the hospitality. I greatly appreciate all you did to make sure I had everything I needed. Looking forward to next year!

Huge Congratulations to my good friends and students The Raptors Flyball! It's been many years of great training, seminars, planning, traveling and unlucky so close times. This year they prove they are one of the best in the world! Way to go guys! Super proud of you all! Can't wait for your next event.

Huge thank you to Twist of Fate Anita Vinette for an exceptional tournament. Great Raffle with big prizes and finished early each day. We had a small group with 3 teams and camped a field away. Ugh. Thanks to everyone who stepped in to lend a hand. Young dogs did well. A team struggled since we mixed up handlers and then burnt pads likely due to the rain softening pads. We have some work to do, but will get them back running well again. Thanks again! We had a great time.
