Hey everyone

I’m more less posting this as a heads up. I’ve decided that after 13 years grooming its time for a change of pace. I’m going to be booking less dogs in on work days, thus booking further in advance. I’m also not going to be working every Saturday. I encourage those with breeds who require regular grooming to be on a 6/8 week schedule otherwise allow 3-4 weeks in advance when requesting an appt.

I find myself struggling to meet the expectations. This has been affecting my mental health and body physically. Fitting in people last minute, taking more dogs than I should be in a day. I am one person show. Bookkeeper, inventory, accountant, bather, dryer, finisher etc. I 💕LOVE❤️ what I do…but I’ve been incredibly overwhelmed lately which has ripped the joy out of it.

I’ve been verbally abused and yelled at more times than I can count this year. By grown men, people throwing around false accusation’s. So if you find yourself on the outs with me as a business…there’s good reason. Unacceptable behaviour will never be tolerated and I demand to be treated respectfully. If you’re not respectful of my time I won’t entertain yours.

My wellbeing and dogs come before any grooming appointment. A client told me today that there are many people who love and respect me. Those are the clients I want and will maintain.

Parvo is rampant in Sudbury again. Reminder for your first appointment with me you must provide vaccine records. I would urge pet owners to avoid taking your dogs to high traffic areas of dogs. Dog parks, stores, etc.
