⁉️⁉️ 🐴🐴 Our next weekend of activities is scheduled for September 21 / 22 with a General Performance show on Saturday and the final gymkhana of the year (and last of the joint buckle series with the Interlakes Horse Club) on Sunday. With other horsey events happening that weekend we want to gauge interest for the Saturday show.

We have jump night coming up tomorrow, August 21!! Few changes to time as it gets darker earlier…..beginner group will start at 5:30 and 6:30 for the more experienced. Please be on your horse and warmed up for your start time.

Another Little Britches Rodeo in the books. Thanks to the many people that helped make it a success!
A couple of 17 hours days but team work makes it a great event for the kids.
🚨 🚨 🚨 Come down for lunch at the concession, some gourmet ice cream from Chilcotin Chills Real Fruit Ice Cream, take in the little britches rodeo action, and visit the vendors at our market!! "Earlier today I posted about jump night this Wednesday August 14th……with the smoke rolling in we may have to cancel if it doesn’t clear up. Check this site or Cat Armitage’s Facebook site or the South Cariboo Equestrian Association Facebook site tomorrow around noon. We will know then if it’s on or cancelled."

**Just a reminder from Cat - Coach for Jump Night** - August 14
This coming Wednesday night (Aug 14) is jump night at the Outriders arena. The sun is going down earlier so the beginner group needs to start at 6:30 sharp…..which means you need to be on your horse and all warmed up at 6:30. More advanced group will start at 7:30. Look forward to see everyone 😊😊🐴🐴😊😊

Over the next couple of weeks we will be show-casing some of the amazing sponsors that have helped us put on events this year. As you know, we are a non-profit and volunteer run club. Our events don't happen without our hard working volunteers and generous donors.

Matthew has been doing a fabulous job with the grounds maintenance for us. Mowing, w**d whacking and keeping everything s**c and span. General Members Meeting today @ 6pm at the South Cariboo Rec Center (formerly Canlan). Members are invited to come and exercise their right to vote and contribute to discussion. Please remember that if you want to vote at the AGM you need to attend a minimum of 2 general meetings and there are only 3 meetings left before this year’s AGM in November.
If you are interested in joining the club and want to learn more come ask your questions.
If you are a member looking for a key to the grounds, there is a $25 deposit and waiver that needs to be signed. We will have a limited quantity at the meeting.

This year we are growing the market at the Little Britches Rodeo ~ August 17 & 18.

Matt and Carolyn Rustemeier cover everything from colt/young horse fundamentals, all the way up to finished horses. Matt is a great teacher and spends lots of individual time with each participant. Carolyn will float around and explain as well, so there is always one of them to answers questions or demo again if a rider needs more attention. Rustemiers will ask what goals people have. If they are having any issues etc. and they encourage questions.
Matt has about a million ways to skin a cat when it comes to horsemanship and will show several different ways to achieve the same goal.
