With only 5 starts, Story hasn’t hit the board in her career. Her owner has decided that if there is a right fit for her outside of racing, he will let her try a new discipline. If not, will likely try again when the track reopens.

She is sweet and quiet! Easy to ride and work around. Not mareish at all. Stood still and didn’t bat an eye while we did her photo shoot and jog videos.

She should mature to atleast 16h and has a lot of filling out to do! Very natural and effortless way of going, so much reach through her shoulder, she’s going to have a really powerful trot when she finishes growing and builds her top line.

Retiring sound with clean legs, no vices and no known limitations.

This cute little firecracker is what we like to call in the racing world- “a professional maiden”. This means, out of her 18 starts, she has not taken a win picture once! (Nor has she any desire to do so)

Powaqa’s connections bred her and have given her every chance to win but she just isn’t keen enough to do so. They are hoping she will enjoy a new discipline outside of racing.

This filly is a feel good girl who will need some downtime to settle and finish growing. She is VERY keen to work and shows a little extra exuberance at times. This will most likely subside with turnout (23 hours in a day on sweet feed will get you sometimes). But we do recommend somebody with experience in restarting OTTBs to channel her enthusiasm 🙂

She has a really super trot and could excel in any discipline.

Those who know me… a good chestnut mare is my favorite!😍😍 30 starts- 2 wins, 5 seconds, 7 thirds. Sweet, fluffy Ash is ready for a new adventure.

She goes against the “chestnut mare” sterotype- she is very sweet on the ground. Easy to work around and enjoys human presence.

She is described as a bit spicier ride under saddle. Not mean, just really likes to train. Very cute mover.

She could excel in absolutely any discipline going forward.

With 15 starts and 4 wins- Sheba is retiring from racing for the same reason as many of the others that I have posted. She has been running in lower claiming races and with the track closing, she isn’t competitive enough anymore to justify wintering and bringing back in the spring.

She may not be on the tall side- but she is built! This mare is solid and will take up a lot of leg. She is barefoot and has been completely happy this way!

This horse means a lot to her connections and gave them a lot of excitement- so they want to see her retire sound and happy to a new job. A job is what Sheba LOVES to have. She means business under tack and wants to work. Easy to work around, no mareish tendacies while working with her, brushing etc.

After 22 career starts and one lifetime win, this sweet girl is looking for her next career. She ran her final start last Friday.

This girl is ridiculously sensible and quiet. We had to take her photos (clearly) in the dark (I take pride in my photos- I admit not my best work but it’s a crazy week!). She walked out and didn’t put a toe out of place.

Her owner is unfortunately very unwell so she needs to find a new career. At 90 years old, he was taking care of her mainly on his own- this speaks volumes to her personality and demeanour.

I instantly loved her disposition. Sweet and kind expression, wanted attention and had no issues with us fussing over her. She is ready to jump into any career, I could see her in any ring.
