Position: Dog Groomer - Mimis Pet Grooming
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dog Groomer to join our team at Mimi's Pet Grooming. We have been in business since 2014 and in our new location for the past five years. We are continuing to grow and we look forward to what the future brings!
As a Groomer working with us, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to our furry clients, ensuring they look and feel their best. If you have a passion for working with animals and possess excellent grooming skills, we would love to hear from you!
Please note: We are hiring for afternoon and weekend positions, part-time & full-time positions. Hours from 12-6:00pm, Weekends, Saturday and Sunday
Duties are as follows:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets according to breed standards or owner preferences
- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area, including sanitizing tools and equipment
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requirements and provide recommendations as needed
- Keep detailed records of each pet's grooming history and any special instructions from pet owners
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous 1 year of experience working as a Pet Groomer or in a related role
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to multi task
- Must be team driven and team motivated
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
