I think it’s been a crazy first week of September for most. Take a minute to take a break and watch Hank enjoy one of his favourite treats. Cucumber!!! He is our official cucumber composter for all our overripe cucumbers from the garden. Thanks for all your hard work Hank! 🤭

Happy first day of school to all the kiddos out there! Here’s your first assignment- How many happy bumblebees do you see having a snack on this delicious goldenrod?! We take great pride in bee-ing a favourite stop in the neighbourhood for our bee friends ❤️

Farming is multitasking.

Did you know this weekend we…

- Completed our final cut of hay
- Processed 650 garlic plants
- Did horse show prep and competed at a full day horse show
- Did all our usual routine farm duties

Yep… all that in 72 hours. Farming does not wait for it to be convenient. It also does not wait for you to catch up.

Starting the day off doing all your veggie orders!

A lovely bouquet of kale! The bugs have decided they are off their kale kick so our Canadian Palm Trees (kale) is looking a lot better coming into fall!

We talk a lot about Farm-hers but Farmers are pretty awesome too. Especially when you leave them unattended in the barn. You never know what you’ll find.

Life can be too stressful if you don’t find laughter and joy during your day. ❤️ This farm is never lacking in some good hearted laughs and fun.

No animals were harmed in the making of this ‘funny’. In fact… they got extra bedtime snacks!

Cooper is hard at work again at the farm. This time he is helping us with our newly cleared area and new home to the blueberries and blackberries!

He’s making sure the soil is level. He keeps telling us it’s a long process and that he might need a bit more time to let us know the results of his study. 💤
