Apologies for being so MIA lately, the rescue has been going through a lot with the flood.

We also have been trying to figure out words to break the news that our sweet old man Fergus crossed over rainbow bridge on Friday. It was quite a shock, and we still are trying to wrap our head around such a tough loss.

We knew this news heading into our Saturday event, however, we wanted to keep things light and happy for all our friends who came out to support us.

Needless to say, we are still here! Just won’t be very active for a bit!

Our raffle draw will happen this afternoon where the winner will be announced as well

We have had an emergency arise at our location and will be CLOSED for the time being. All inquiries will be answered at a later date and any appointment requests will be postponed.

If you have an appointment already, you may receive a message to reschedule, however if you do not hear from us, the appointment is still a go.

Our event on Saturday will still be happening!

Everyone is okay! We just had a massive flood of the house with extensive damage, therefore all our focus will be on this for the time being!

Congratulations to our winner Ashley Whistl!

Fergus is improving so much, I’m so proud of our little old man 🥹

A little update on our grandpa Fergus! Given his old age, and history of change, he is finding the adjustment very hard. He is not really going for food unless we physically feed him. He also has very dry skin everywhere as well as exhibiting signs of bumble foot. We are rooting for this old man no matter what, and are hoping to get him into the vet within the next week or two. For now, he is on a joint supplement, dust limited to once a week, and layers of soft, padded fleece for his poor feet. Aside from all of this, Fergus is extremely sweet and snuggly for a chinchilla! He also loves giving kisses. **EDIT** he is currently on treatment that we have on hand from our vets; we still would like to take him at their soonest availability to look him over

EDIT: MONEY RAISED 🥳🥳🥳 Piggie update! We have raised $430 so far for the piggies! I want to give a special thanks to Lynwood Animal Hospital, Dr. Harrison, and Carolann for donations and contributions to the piggies! Mr. Zorro is out of surgery and has already began eating! He is looking fantastic and we couldn’t be more grateful! His brother Sanji is also doing amazing, and is quite the chonky boy lol Please keep sharing so we can get in our payment ASAP!! We will also be needing a foster for these special boys, please send us a message if you are interested ;)

EMERGENCY INTAKE We are looking for help with our newest medical case in serious need of seeing a vet. This hedgehog was caught on video being dumped and was saved from amazing samaritans. He is dragging both back legs and is very bad condition. We have hope for him and have our vets lined up to treat him. Donations are greatly needed to get this amazing and brave boy back to 100%.
