First, thank you so much for the continuous support of my small business. As a one woman team, I often find myself taking on way too much.

I’ve made the decision to not take any new orders until January 2024.

I currently have many Christmas orders and do not have the capacity to continue taking on more.

This fun treat was introduced in the fall as a limited edition product, but has been so popular it’s here to stay!

A fun twist on our OG pb & pumpkin recipe mixed and topped with Organic Dragon Fruit powder 💗

I’ve been quiet on here since things have been so hectic! Getting out all the Christmas orders + advent calendars this weekend plus market on Saturday from 11-3pm! (Come visit :))

Unfortunately I will be away next week for a work training. Any orders placed for Christmas items will be fulfilled the week December 18-22.

Thank you all for your patience, understanding and kindness! This is the busiest time of the year and with life, full time work and orders, it’s hard to manage it all. Grateful for the continuous love and support of my small business 🥺♥️

Obsessed is an understatement.

When I first met Safiya, it was through her dogs account .meets.world applying to become a rep for Barkers. Prior to that, I did not know her. Over the past year, I have had the honour to call Safiya one of my close friends. Not only is she hilarious, but also talented.

When I learned of her new endeavour, starting up a photography business, I was beyond excited and genuinely proud. It’s evident that she’s always had a wicked eye and talent when taking pictures of Arlo, even on an iPhone.

Safiya, it’s been an honour watching you develop you skills - the photography process, editing, etc. I’m truly grateful to be able to call you my friend, and to have you capture special moments, in my personal and Barker’s life.

Once again, I am astonished by how my art work was captured through her lens.

On October 8th, Barker’s hit it’s 3rd year anniversary!!! Cant believe it’s already been THREE YEARS!! 🎉 At the same time, we also hit over 2000 followers! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the consistent support 🥺🫶

Considering I have never introduced myself in 3 years, I figured now would be the best time.

Facts about Barker’s & the woman behind the business:

• Nes is dog mom to Maple, (4 year old) Australian Shepherd and Luna, (1 year old) black demon kitty and now, Acorn, bully mix (couple months old).
• full-time Social Worker working with Indigenous women 💕
• basically full-time baker during evenings and weekends.
• one woman, minority owned and operated business.
• open and willing to try new things - nothing better than testing my limits and moving beyond my comfort zone!
• obsessed with any and every animal.
• cakes are not just for humans - dogs, cats and horses deserve cake too!
• hoping to one day take Barker’s full time and open a local business (investors? 😏).
• the best part about this business? Seeing all the happy dogs being celebrated and the amazing community, who’ve supported me through many changes and developments in my technique and products. There’s no better feeling knowing my creations have been included in special celebrations 💕
