Early this morning my dog went for a spa day at a new grooming establishment called JJ's Groom Room (it’s beside garlic king on st.joseph). I went for a tour on Tuesday to check it out. It’s brand new and very clean. I met some of the groomers (very nice ladies). What I really like about this place is that each groomer has their “own room”. So dogs are separated when getting groomed! This is perfect if you have a nervous or reactive dog. Today my dog was pampered with a wash, brush and blow dry (he doesn't look too impressed with the drying part 😆) I normally don’t post about businesses but this one deserves a mention! They also do just nails too among other things. I like to support small businesses especially ones that I believe go above and beyond for my dog.
We rate this business 10/10! 🐾❤️

Too good not to share..she got really into the Christmas music 😂 when we were playing outside ..so cute 😍

This week we were all about getting into the Christmas spirit here at the Blackburn Hamlet Dog Walker. As many of you know when it becomes cold out I start having the dogs listen to music when out for their walks. Studies show that it calms down dogs when they are given the opportunity to listen to easy listening and classical music. Since Christmas is close we have been listening to Christmas music! This week was Dolly Parton and Kenny Roger’s Christmas Album! The dogs really enjoy that one. Next week will be Jim Reeves and Burl Ives’s Christmas albums. It’s a fun and festive way to enjoy our walks. (We never have music on when we are around other walkers. As we don’t want to disrupt their outdoor time with our fun festive songs😃)

The tail wag says it all! It’s her favourite time of year! Today she was playing in my backyard after our walk to enjoy the fresh snow 🙂
