ry, it was common in the 1970s and '80s or Brokerages to be in the Insurance/Real Estate/ Mortgage and Investment businesses. Professionally Ralph is very involved in his industry, serving as President Elect 2017 of the Ottawa Real Estate Board, and community through organizations like the Chamber of Commerce, Business Improvement Associations, Corporate member Carleton Place Rotary Club, and numerous Economic Development Roles. Ralph has always been heavily involved with all sorts of community activities. He chaired the board for the BIA for a number of years and worked with Business Improvement Associations throughout Eastern Ontario in an advisory capacity over the years. He has also worked in a variety of roles with the Chamber of Commerce & Industrial Commissions. For over a decade Ralph, with two friends, ran the Capital Classic Horse Show in Ottawa. The Event was an International Competition hosting riders from around the world at an Olympic level. The show boasted a 10 Million Dollar economic impact on the Kanata / Ottawa economy during its five day competitions. Ralph has also been involved with The Carleton Place Canoe Club over the years, having served as a War Canoe Coxswain through to Vice Commodore on the executive. Carleton Place is home to the oldest continuous running flat water racing club in Canada boasting numerous champions and Olympic level competitors. Education
Ralph is a Marketing Grad from Algonquin College in Ottawa and also holds his Charter Insurance Professional designation with the Insurance Institute of Canada. He obtained the accreditation utilizing Carleton University for most of the courses. Personal
Married with four children and one grandson, Ralph enjoys living in Carleton Place just outside of Ottawa.
