I need to address something as we go into the second half of Summer. Right now, walks, boards, grooming and drop ins are at an all time high. People are going away, people have emergencies. We get it, and we're here to support you all.
Currently we are 2 people. Between the two of us, we're running 2 businesses, 3 kids, 2 households (Both of which are under renovation since its warmer months!) And full time education. We work 7 days a week. We never have days "off."
We're in the process of onboarding over 150 clients on brand new software, that as we explained before - we're also new to. We both live over an hour from Ottawa, and that's where most of our clients reside. We're spending hours a days commuting and countless kilometers per week. Cass needed an oil change in only 2 weeks!
We LOVE what we do, and we're eager to keep growing, and helping everyone! Eventually we will be hiring, we just need to figure out what our demand and structure looks like before we add hiring on our already overflowing plates.
All that we ask is for a bit of patience. The rude messages being received are quite defeating when working 7 days a week. We have some clients emailing 2-5 times a day, and that's leading to hundreds of emails at a time.
Once we get through this transition, and everyone onboarded, this will be a well greased machine! We just ask for a bit of patience while we work towards this goal together.
With that being said - on the flip side....we can't thank you all enough for your love and support. Meeting all of you, your kids and your pets has been just been filling our hearts with so much joy. Words cannot describe how happy we are to be there for you all.
We love you all, and we promise we're working hard to keep caught up with all your emails, messages, texts, app messages, onboarding approvals and social media comments. Many days, we're running from 5am-midnight to make sure we're getting everything done.
