I need to address something as we go into the second half of Summer. Right now, walks, boards, grooming and drop ins are at an all time high. People are going away, people have emergencies. We get it, and we're here to support you all.

Currently we are 2 people. Between the two of us, we're running 2 businesses, 3 kids, 2 households (Both of which are under renovation since its warmer months!) And full time education. We work 7 days a week. We never have days "off."

We're in the process of onboarding over 150 clients on brand new software, that as we explained before - we're also new to. We both live over an hour from Ottawa, and that's where most of our clients reside. We're spending hours a days commuting and countless kilometers per week. Cass needed an oil change in only 2 weeks!

We LOVE what we do, and we're eager to keep growing, and helping everyone! Eventually we will be hiring, we just need to figure out what our demand and structure looks like before we add hiring on our already overflowing plates.

All that we ask is for a bit of patience. The rude messages being received are quite defeating when working 7 days a week. We have some clients emailing 2-5 times a day, and that's leading to hundreds of emails at a time.

Once we get through this transition, and everyone onboarded, this will be a well greased machine! We just ask for a bit of patience while we work towards this goal together.

With that being said - on the flip side....we can't thank you all enough for your love and support. Meeting all of you, your kids and your pets has been just been filling our hearts with so much joy. Words cannot describe how happy we are to be there for you all.

We love you all, and we promise we're working hard to keep caught up with all your emails, messages, texts, app messages, onboarding approvals and social media comments. Many days, we're running from 5am-midnight to make sure we're getting everything done.

We’ve got expos, meet and greets and an overload of boarded pets.

We want to make a full day of grooming on Friday July 26th. Please message us and let us book you in! We’re going to be running all day.

Hey everyone! As we mentioned previously
we're working towards automating the business. This is our way of getting organized, being better with paperwork and creating a system that will invoice you guys directly.

Yes - you can still pay cash or EMT. You just now have the option of paying your balance with credit cards in our secure portal. Its powered by Square, so trustworthy and reliable!

We get all new clients to agree to all documents, regardless if they are solely grooming clients. This is because we don't want to have to keep track of who signed what document.

Please follow the link below and create a user profile. In the next several weeks, we will be moving to this app entirely.

You can use it to book services, message us and more! We've started the process with some clients already and its been a BREEZE to keep them updated on what's going on.

You have the option of requesting a service through the app, or you can message us directly and we can schedule it manually. No problem!

We are also new to this - so please be gentle! We're going to work out gaps and bugs as clients start using the app. Together, we're going to streamline this whole process.

Hey all! Here is Sam’s bio. I mentioned her in my previous post! Im so happy to welcome her on - I’ve needed the help 😂

Hello, I'm Samantha! My journey with animals began 20 years ago at a small pet store in Sooke, British Columbia. During my four years there, I not only gained experience in pet care but also tried my hand at grooming. It was at this store that I got my first pet, a rat named Ozzy, just a month into my job.

Since then, my love for exotic animals has flourished, and I have been a proud owner of a variety of pets. Currently, I share my home with an American Bully, three cats, and numerous exotic animals. Known among my friends and family for my "extra" pet care, I naturally became the go-to person for boarding their animals. Over the past decade, I've privately boarded a diverse range of pets, from cats, dogs, birds, and rodents to larger, scalier companions.

In addition to boarding, I offer home visits to assist with on-site cleaning and pet care. My deep love for animals and passion for helping others with their pets led me to join Kat's Critter Care almost a year ago. Now, with the business growing, I’m excited to take on a larger role. I will be managing a significant part of the administrative tasks, and you'll also see me walking dogs, doing home visits, and providing boarding services.

It truly takes a village to care for our beloved pets, and I look forward to meeting all of you and getting to know your wonderful fur, hair, scaled, and feathered babies!

Hey everyone. I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone for your trust, and growing my home business to where it's at today. It has been such an honor to have your trust, with your babies of all types!
I've been growing at an exponential rate and I wanted to take some time to talk about some changes that will be happening in the very near future.
First of all - I'm very sorry for my slow replies. Meta business suite in the last year has been challenging with all their changes. They toss many messages into alternative boxes, or messages don't load at all. I will be automating my business - finally and will be posting a link in a few days time so everyone can create their own profiles as well as be able to book services. The prices are listed, which makes everyone's lives much easier. We like easy - right?
There will be more to come on that topic in no time.

Next order of business, is l've hired someone to help me run this business. Many of you have met or talked to her, she's been helping part time the last year or so. Im happy to announce, I’ve hired Sam on full time going forward. Her title will be Operations Manager. She will be helping to automate, price, invoice and book you guys. She will also be dog walking, doing some nails and feathers and doing meet and greets. I'll also be making another post with her bio so I can officially Introduce her to you guys.

Social media has been lacking. We will become more active with updates and pictures and fun things…maybe even a give away or two 😉

We are growing. We are working endless amounts of hours updating and recreating a system to make everything more user friendly and better all around. We want to serve you all better, provide more transparency. Be the best we can be.

Sniffer has been one of our long time pet sitting clients. He’s been around since close to the beginning! We still remember when he was a quick little puppy running and chasing everyone. He may be getting a bit older now(11 years old now, wow!), but he still remembers us and has a good time any time he visits. =)
