Meet Dory!

Dory is a little spitfire who loves to chase and play with her siblings. Her big personality means she can hold her own when roughhousing with her bigger brothers. Dory would love an active family with children or other dogs in the home to keep her busy and engaged.

Mickey has a confident and spunky personality that, along with his striking blue eyes, is hard to ignore. He has a big appetite and a nose for treats, so he should be fun to train. He would do well with another dog who will be able to keep up with his rambunctious play style.

We had such a great family reunion today - a get-together for 6 of our 7 Hot Pepper puppy families! These 7-month old puppies definitely recognized each other, as well as their mom and grandmother... They are sweet, funny, loud, and we are so happy they are with amazing, loving people who appreciate all their Husky quirks and love of life.

I am heartbroken to share the news that CH Ancient Moon's Wait For No One, our Tasha, passed away in her sleep last night. She left this world the same way she came into it...on her terms.
Tasha was the only daughter of Merlin and Issy. Merlin was the greatest pack leader I've ever met, while Issy was a princess worthy of a Disney movie - sweet, wise, and a little bit ditzy.
Tasha was strong and stable like her dad, and a little silly and very sweet like her mom.
Whatever Tasha inherited or learned from her parents, she was her own dog too. She'd run to you and hit you so hard in her excitement to see you that she'd send you back into the wall. She had the social intelligence to play with dogs that we couldn't trust with anyone else. She was a protective, serious, and loving mom.
Tasha was mom to many really wonderful dogs and she passed on her looks, movement, strength, intelligence, and silliness to her son, Justice.
Tasha moved to Kanata after her last litter and was able to retire with her son, Boris. We were lucky enough to see her often, and she was blessed to live with Bill and Catherine and experience a home life and adventures like camping.
It's hard to imagine the world without Tasha, but she was ready to see her mom and dad and all her friends and family who passed before her. Rest easy sweet, strong, silly girl. You were loved beyond measure.

I had to redo the post :) I had an Ancho picture instead of a Sriracha picture and Facebook inexplicablywould not allow me to add a picture after deleting one (??). This time it is Sriracha (Jade), Morita (Lunete), Pasilla (Isa), Ancho, Cayenne, Serrano (Ranger), and Tabasco (Asher).

First walks on leash with mom and grandmom today.
Ancho the wise walked as though he had already gone on many walks before and hopped up the steps when we got home like he knew he had back legs.
Pasilla the rebel, decided that she wasn't going to be a follower, and refused to walk at all.
Cayenne the sweet, just wanted to be with her mama and expressed her feelings with whines of excitement.
Sriracha the joyful, bounced along on her walk like she bounces through every other moment of her day.
Morita the bold, had a delighted glint in her eyes as she stretched her legs and seemed to decide she was enjoying herself very much.
Serrano the curious wasn't sure about walks at first but quickly changed his mind and found many many things that piqued his interest along the way.
Tabasco the gentle giant, thought that walking with his mom was a pleasant enough activity and deserved a delightful lunch and a nice nap afterwards

The puppies are 6 weeks old and will be starting bigger adventures this week. Car trips, home visits and little outdoor walks are on the agenda. Some of the puppies have new names...check them out in the descriptions!
