We are so grateful for these horses that have touched our lives so deeply, in the time that they were here. We have promised all of our equines a soft landing and when the time comes they will leave us, grazing beside their best friend. It's the least we can do.

A huge shout out to our vet, Dr. Jon Waito, of Miller Vet in Chatsworth, for coming out to speak with our 4H Horse Club! We learned a lot, but the most fascinating part was that the horse's cecum sounds like a toilet flushing when it empties! How cool is that?!

We’re getting ready for our 4-H Achievement Day, and Rio is letting us know how he truly feels about this obstacle! 🤣 Over the past few months, the 4-H Club has been working on developing their equine skills with horses and getting their horse to go through obstacles is one of those skills.
