Enjoying the sunshine on the way to surgery #2

Thank you to everyone who has sent Pupdate photos over the last few weeks it definitely helped to lift our spirits during Sydney’s recovery and I promise to share them eventually 😅

It’s been a long 2 1/2 weeks and it’s unfortunate that we need to restart the healing journey again but she has done so well and we’re hopeful she’ll continue doing well in her recovery.

😳😳 Omg this reminds me of the first (and last!) time I fed Cornish hen feet 🐓to the baby puppies🐾 I thought it was a great success until 2 hours later when Honey brought up a WHOLE unchewed foot‼️ and THEN an hour after that she brought up a 2nd!🙈🤯🙈

Pupdate!!! Stubborn, mischievous and oh so adorable, it’s Wicket and little brother Baloo! It’s hard to believe one of these big boys is still just a baby! These lucky boys recently had the chance to spend some time at Algonquin Park where they enjoyed the snow and lots of snuggle time with Mom and Dad 🥰

💔 Today, our hearts are heavy for Mortimer’s family as they bid farewell to their beloved boy. After a brave battle and months of recovery, complications arose, and they had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye. No one would have expected a broken leg would end this way unfortunately, the infection proved to be too much for him to bear, despite their best efforts and endless love.

Mortimer was not just a pet; he was a cherished companion, bringing joy and warmth into their lives every day. They did everything they could to give him the best care possible, but sometimes even that isn't enough.

Though our hearts ache with sorrow, we find solace in knowing that Mortimer felt their love until the very end. He will forever hold a special place in their hearts, and the memories they shared will be treasured forever.

Please keep Mortimer’s family in your thoughts as they navigate through this loss. Rest in peace, dear Mortimer. You will be deeply missed. 💔🐾

Pupdate!!! Miss Echo is one lucky girl! 🍀 Having a Groomer ✂️for a Momma means she has an endless supply of new doggy friends to play with 🥰

Echo is one of our future Mommas she has cleared all of her genetic DNA 🧬 health testing and will soon be going to have her hips and elbows tested 🩻 If all goes well you can expect to see her pups this fall 🐾🍁🐾

Pupdate!!! What a difference a year can make! Moka joined her new family one year ago and look at them now! Moka is playful, energetic, curious, and very loving and her family says they couldn’t be happier! We just love when our pups find such perfect forever homes 🥰

I recently came across the term “Puppy Blues” in another Facebook group. It’s like the baby blues or buyers remorse after bringing home a new puppy and realizing how much your life needs to adjust and how much work they can be. I would love to hear people’s experiences with the puppy blues. What helped? What was the hardest part? What could your breeder have done to help prepare you or support you threw this?
