Rosie Bird
December 25, 2009- June 26, 2024
It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of our friend, and family member, Rosie Bird. Rosie was by my side, as a faithful friend, through countless phases and seasons of my adult life. I have found myself speechless as I have struggled to find the perfect words to express how much her life has meant to me.
I have realized in the days since her passing that my human behaviour is very dependent on her quirky schedule and needs. I am almost lost this week trying to navigate a world where the blanket for the couch does not need to be folded, the curtains do not need to be adjusted to the perfect spot for ultimate boston sun bathing, and Amazon packages are delivered without the sounds that a murderer is in my realm. My home office seems too quiet, uninteresting, and lonely.
Rosie Bird I will forever miss your funny faces, strong personality, and exceptional wit. In celebration of Rosie’s life, I ask that you share your favourite stories, pictures, or happy memories. I know she has many friends across the globe that have wished her happiness over her 14 fabulous years.
