🚨 Fresh Batch Alert! 🚨

Our latest batch of Pupper-roons just came out of the kitchen today, and we experimented with half a batch of cranberry-infused ones for a festive twist, maybe i'll call them Snowballs!! 🎄✨ These will be part of our upcoming holiday specials, so keep an eye out. 👀

Pupper-roons have been popular and dogs seem to love the stick like crunchy texture, they're one of our “Three-Ingredient Snax”, made with:
🥥 Unsweetened shredded coconut
🥛 Plain, grass-fed kefir
🥚 Wholesome egg whites

💚 Why do I use green bananas? 🍌 Here is an excerpt from The Forever Dog Life by Dr. Karen Becker & Rodney Habib. I follow many recipes from this book, this one included!

👩‍⚕️ "Go Green for Gut Health: Unripe (green) bananas are the unsung heroes of gut health. They are high in prebiotics, which positively influence blood sugar control and help increase the production of butyrate, a short-chain fatty acid that is formed when starch ferments in the gut. Butyrate acts as an energy source for colon celils (providing up to 70 percent of their energy!), supports the immune system, and helps reduce inflammation. The greener the bananas you use in recipes and as treats, the lower the sugar and the more healthy, resistant starch and pectin are present, which improves gut health and helps keep blood sugar and insulin low and steady. If you don't bake your green bananas into a tasty training treat, cut them into bite-sized pieces and feed them according to this schedule:
• Giant breed dogs: 1/2 green banana a day • Medium to large breeds: 1/4 green banana a day • Small breeds: 1/8 green banana a day • Cats: 2 teaspoons, mashed, per day". PG 97
