This is heartbreaking!! These helpless little souls didn't even have a chance to open their eyes before abandoned. Share this post to help these fur babies.

This morning, 8 puppies were found abandoned in Grimsby; so young their umbilical cords are still attached. This is heartbreaking and completely preventable. Animals should never be dumped. We are here 24/7 to provide help and support—please reach out if you need assistance.

Today is , and with multiple litters already in the shelter, we’re stretched thin. These tiny lives need immediate care, and we need your help to give them a fighting chance.

We do not have the dumped breeding dogs from Howick twp

That said we have 3 females and 2 males from a breeder that has retired them

As well as Honey, a cocker spaniel who was clearly also a breeding dog, found as a stray in October 2023

Sadie came in first then Cindy, and then in August we got Missy, Buster and Keaton

Sadie, a shih tzu mix, is still extremely nervous of strangers and some every day things yet, that adores snuggling with Cindy and other dogs and cats, born Jan 24/2020, and came in July 5/2023

She does require another dog in the home, in fairness to her, and she does require a secure yard at home, and is not a candidate for travel

Cindy, a shih tzu mix, that enjoys snuggling with Sadie and other dogs and cats, and is coming along with meeting new people

She was born June 8, 2018, and came in Feb 26/24

"They're both a little shy but very loving and snuggly.
Missy is very chill when we go outside she's not one for running around really she just lays down wherever she is stretches out and watches everything.
Cindy is a little bit more assertive. If the other dogs are crowding her on the couch she growls at them a little bit and let some know she needs her space. But she's fine with cats as is Missy and they both get into that muddle huddle cuddle on the couch with me all the time.
Missy likes to sleep with me she was snuggled up against my back when I woke up this morning and she loves to give kisses.
Cindy and Sadie both walk right into their crate whenever it's time to go in and are totally quiet all night."

Missy is a shih tzu mix born May 3, 2018

Keaton is a small poodle, born October 22, 2015

Buster is a bichon, born March 19, 2016

Honey was estimated to be 3-5 years old on intake October 31st, 2023

Missy, Buster and Keaton are not posted on Petfinder as they are getting used to lives in a home environment

All 5 would be best in a home with dog savvy adults that are capable of reading body language and allowing the dogs to learn to trust without having an setbacks

No children please for any of the breeder surrenders as these dogs are a flight risk and afraid of being picked up

Honey however loves kids
