Did you know that in the first year of life, your young animal has a very high chance of misalignment, setting themselves up for muscle tension a couple years down the line? With how active and clumsy they are its no wonder they can become a little out of whack 😅! I also do socialization and handling, to prepare them for future visits with me, and other professionals.
I have puppy and yearling discounts, to help prevent and treat misalignment and muscle tension in the body, before they start showing signs of discomfort.

A quick demonstration of a few simple neck stretches for your dog. We are still in the beginning stages, and focusing less on the correct position and stretch, and more on getting him comfortable being handled this way, and remaining calm. For a nervous or high energy dog this can be a lot to ask!

I suggest luring your dog to your side. Support one side with your leg, and the other with a hand on their ribs. With your other hand lure their head over away from you, trying to keep it low and flat with their back. Remember, you are training the behavior at first, reward them just for trying!
For the next stretch, support them the same way, but lure their head between their front legs.
I also taught him bow, and he loves stretching into it!

Give lots of positive reinforcement, and be patient! ❤
