Wanted to Update....
I want to thank Beaverton Crossroads vet clinic for the peaceful and supportive care of Sophie's passing. DR Amy and her staff were so loving and caring. Also thank you to my wonderful, beautiful, loving friend Roxanne R Bertrand for all you support , holding my hand through this, wiping my tears, your love, financial help and just loving our Sophie so much all these years.
Today PopaChops, Ginger and Gracee are showing signs of loss. Especially her son PopaChops who was so attached to her. So today we took a truck ride. All 3 went pups went to Tim Horton for a plain donut, (also added ice cream to their breakfast) then we drove down the lake drive towards our vacant land and had an hour slow walk throughout the trails. They were very happy. I sat on our log that we always stopped at and cried my heart out. I feel her soul running free. I stood beside Tony's dad's tree stand (as he pasted over a month ago.) Our Nono loved to hunt and he loved Sophie. I know in my heart that Nono meet our sophie and made her passing peaceful. Run free with Nono and all our puppy friends.
And thank you to the over 300 plus messages from family, friends, acquaintances, from all over the world. Even people whom iv never meet but live their passion for our mastiffs. This Mastiff community is amazing. I feel your love you are sending us. Hug your babies many times a day. Trust me you'll get every bit of love back from them.
Thank you and Love to our mastiff community far and wide.

Well today is a very hard day in our home. I sit holding my beautiful English Mastiffs Miss Sophie. (Dragonhalls Miss Sophie) hanging onto every moment I can with her. She is
my heart dog. Yesterday she was diagnosed with a painful cancer and will be laid to rest this afternoon. I won't let my baby suffer. She is medicated enough to be responsive and enjoying all the treats she can handle. She had a small amount of pizza for breakfast as she doesn't want kibble. She's enjoyed some ice cream last night after she ate her venison stake and sweet potatoes and green beans. Topped with beef broth gravy. Whatever she wants she gets.
Sophie would have been 8 on Jan 1st. My new years day baby. She came from Florida from a wonderful lady Sherry Eisenhuth and Dragonhall's kennel. She was a wonderful, caring mommy to 2 litters of pups. Her son PopaChops is her best friend. He will miss her deeply too.
For all the people who meet Sophie thank you for being kind to her even with her 200 pd size. She is a gentle giant and left an impression on everyone she meet.
May God open the rainbow Bridge for her and she can run free with her friends, Simon, Gracie, Phoenix and all the beautiful other doggies.
WE LOVE YOU MISS SOPHIE ❤️ 😘 💖 💕 ♥️ 💓 ❤️ 😘 💖 💕 ♥️
