Chandelier Miniature American Shepherds I'm pursuing my passion to become a breeder of Miniature American Shepherds. Nine years ago, Roxie, a Miniature Australian Shepherd came into my life.

As a hobby, my program will be kept small, but I am striving to breed the best possible dogs to meet breed standards and for pet companions for people. It has taken me many years to find something I’m truly passionate about, but I’ve finally come to realize that my love for my dogs goes beyond just them. That’s where it all began…then three years ago, Bella and shortly after Korra, both Miniature

American Shepherds became part of the family under co-ownership contracts. Under co-ownership, the breeder would breed both girls and possible show them. Luckily, Bella and Korra’s breeder became my friend and allowed Bella to give birth at home and I got to take care of her and her puppies. This is when I realized how passionate I was about helping these puppies have the best start to their lives so they could become the best possible dogs for their fur-ever homes. After much thought and internal debate, I’ve decided to pursue my new found passion and start working towards becoming a breeder of Miniature American Shepherds. This will be a hobby for me so I will be keeping my program small and striving to breed the best possible dogs to meet breed standards and for pet companions for people.

We’ve been debating having a spring litter!

We were quite pleased with Ashley’s first litter this past summer that we’re wanting to have another litter with her this spring. She is due to cycle at any time now which could mean puppies ready for new homes in June.

However, we don’t want to have a litter if the interest is not there… should we pursue this breeding?

The boy we have in mind has one of the best temperaments going and has passed that lovable temperament off to several of his offspring.
