We are experiencing some changes here at Fairy Tails Grooming Spa and I wanted to let my amazing clients to know as soon as possible. The shop has been VERY quiet the past few months so we have been forced to make the decision for me to find employment outside of the home. Though I am disappointed for the decline in business I am also excited for the new opportunity and to help us as a family finally start to get ahead again. We are still catching up from the wedding and we don’t want to get into a position that will be harder to get out of if we continue to wait for business to pick back up.

Please know this DOES NOT mean I will be closing shop. I am going to keep booking appointments, I love my clients and I appreciate your business immensely! It will just mean my availability will be a bit more narrowed. I will have evening and weekend appointments available 😊

I hope everyone can understand this was NOT an easy decision and I hope you continue to entrust me with your fur babies 💜

I’ve decided to offer a new service on a trial basis to see how much interest there is 😊
I will be offering daily doggy daycare!! Have work, errands to run or appointments to be at and don’t want to leave your fur baby home alone? I’m here to offer a safe and loving environment for your pups to hang out while you get stuff done 😊 introductory rates: full day (7:30-5) $20 per pup, half day (7:30-11:30 or 1-5) $10 per pup. There will be a limited number of spaces offered daily to keep the environment welcoming 🐕🐩🦮🐕‍🦺 Luka and Harlow can’t wait to make new friends!!

Hi all! I can’t believe we are nearing the end of summer already! August was a busy, busy month with our wedding, honeymoon and boarding 💗 we’ve had the pleasure of spending most of the month with the cutest little pups; Dexter and Molly 💜 we’ll be sad to see them go this weekend! Then we’ll have another friend joining us for the rest of August and a few days in September 😊 that being said, I’m now booking groomings and boarding for September so be sure to reach out soon to get the day/time you want 😊

Had the sweetest little visitor last night for a practice sleepover for her next sleepover in May and she did so good! 💜🥰 we love Gemma to bits!

So, after more research I have decided to lower my pet sitting rates to $40 per night and $25 for each additional pup from the same family 💜 this seems to align more with the pricing at kennels in our part of the province. Hi everyone! I’ve been contemplating this idea for a bit now so I thought I’d throw it out there and see what kind of interest there is.

I know there are people who don’t particularly like sending their fur babies to a kennel when they go away so I would like to offer a pup sitting service in my home. I will be limiting the number of pups to one family at a time as to not force any strange pups on each other and to create a more ‘at home’ atmosphere for the pups staying here 💜 They will have human interaction through their whole stay and all the love and snuggles they want to help them feel at home 🥰 We do have our own pups who are great with other pups however, we do have space that our visiting pups can be without having to be with our pups 🙂
I am also aiming to offer great rates so I’ll be starting at $50 per night. No minimum number of nights; 1+, anything you need.

As promised, here are some pics of my boy’s new do! Still have to tidy up a couple spots but he was more than done with the process last night 😂 I’ll fix him up today. We chose to leave his big mane and chest hair because we love it and he’s never had this version of the cut before. Typically we’d shape up his head more and shave down his chest so he’d just have his head fur and tail p**f 💙 not too bad for a first time cat cut if I do say so myself 😉😁

Did my first lion cut tonight on my boy Sheldon 💚 he didn’t do too bad! And I’m sure he feels SO much better! I haven’t taken the cat grooming course yet but he needed a cut as he had some matts starting so I tackled the challenge 😊 think I did pretty good for my first cat cut! Pics to come! I’m just letting him have a nap after his big hair cut 😂 Stay tuned!
