A throw back to June 2020
Fiona with Tinkerbell
I often get asked why my horses don’t wear rain coats. The simple explanation is that a horse has a natural rain coat with their hair. Their coat has natural oils which aid in repelling water. In this video you can see how the rain beads and runs off of Fiona’s coat. She is cozy and dry underneath.
It’s always fun when you switch up their routines. They never disappoint in giving us a fun show.
We got to play with our home bred girl Artemis today(Boulders Bam Bam x S.P. Captivation (x Elute). With only 30 days of formal under saddle training she’s coming together.
We started her ground work here from the moment she was born. So when we sent her out to start her riding career she had impeccable ground manners. Shout out to EK Equestrian for the great job getting her going under saddle. Looking forward to what you do over the next month together.
