China and I went to Saskatoon to attend the Crack Out event at Prairieland Ag. Centre.

It was such an awesome day to get China out for a real competitive run, and she did phenomenal. No silly business, she had confidence, and showed true potential.

I am really looking forward to sharing our journey with you all, and seasoning her for the 2026 season.

Looking forward to the next one.

With the colder weather approaching I just want to post the changes for this winter.

We will not be riding in anything below -10 this year. Last year was a bit to cold for both horses and riders.

I have heard from some students/parents about their winter plans.

If students plan to take the winter off and come back in the spring, please let me know so I can plan for their return. With this begin said, any students that have not made arrangements with me will lose their spot in the program come spring. We have a waitlist of students wanting to join the program so your spot will be filled.

If students plan to ride this winter please let me know so I know how many students we have for the winter months.

Lesson days will vary with the weather so keep it mind we will be playing with the weather for lessons. We will be booking week by week, but regular days and times take priority.

Little late post, but 2 weeks ago the horses had a visit with our favourite chiropractors!!

I can’t say enough great things about Payton and Chris and the quality of work they do. Everyone got an adjustment before winter. Magpie rides like a completely new pony, Red had his usual spots adjusted, China showed that she’s holding her adjustments better, Bentley held his previous treatment so well, and Twinkle feels alot better under saddle.

We are truly going to miss Payton and Chris while they are down south for the winter months, and definitely look forward to their return. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the amazing body work you guys do on our horses. Integrity Equine & Animal Solutions Inc.

I have known, and PREACHED this ALL my life. Finally, someone wrote an article and presented good photos.

We are big at teaching the "why" - this was too good not to share. It's the "little" things you do to help your horse that makes them happy and enjoy their time with you.
⬆️Pulling your saddle pad up into the pommel.
💪 It can can take a bit of practice with saddle shifting and pad pulling, but your horse will appreciate it.
🙁 Without being pulled up, when the saddle is cinched the pad presses down on the withers potentially causing discomfort.
😀 With the pad pulled up into the pommel the withers have room to move and there isn't a pressure point.
If you aren't already in the habit of doing this the next time you ride put your fingers between the pad and your horses withers while walking or trotting.
It's our job to make sure that they can comfortably carry us. This simple shift ⬆️ can help to make that happen.

2023 Grade Buckskin Gelding
Standing 15.2 at the wither and 15.3 at the hip. Spirit is going to be a big fella.

Spirit is a well built and flash guy. He is conformationally correct, blemish feee, and well mannered. He is one of the sweetest horses to be around, he likes to give kisses and snuggle. He is easy to catch, handle, and work around. Ties well and has been handled since he was born.

Great for the vet, farrier, and chiropractors. (Integrity Equine) He’s been since by them since a c**t. His last session was Saturday October 4th. Farrier work done Sept 23rd. He has had his teeth done and his wolf teeth pulled. UTD on vaccinations as well.

Spirit has a good brain, is sound, and sane. He hasn’t been started yet, but has had some ground work done and has worn a saddle a few times. He doesn’t present to be the spooky type, and has had desensitizing work done. My 3 year old daughter can walk him around without issues.

Spirit comes from registered stock just never registered him. His dam (Chromed Out China) has started her career as a barrel horse, and his sire (My Royal Hired Gun) is a nice ranch horse. Dam does live on site. Papers and photos of dam and sire included.

Spirit has potential to go in any direction, Western or English. He WILL get you noticed in the show pen.

Spirits quirk, he has sensitive skin so there has been times during the really buggy season he will try to lay down while tied.

This was a hard decision by his owner as she foaled him out, but he is going to be far too big for what she is looking for.

What an incredible day of horse showing yesterday was.

Aubree and Sutton attended the Rosthern Gymkhana event. This was such a well run event that we will be attending again.

Aubree showed phenomenal horsemanship, confidence, and ability. She rode Red extremely well and loped all her patterns. She was running up against some tough 9-14 years in very big classes, it was definitely the biggest division of the day. After a very smooth quadrangle pattern, she brought home a 3rd place.

Sutton did very well in her fairly big classes, was amazing to see how many littles were out. That’s what it’s about, the next generation. Sutton came home with a 4th in quadrangle and a 6th in pole bending.

I am such a proud coach and mom. Both of them exceed any expectation I had set forth.

Looking forward to next years events.
