Sunny has done it all! Low level eventing, jumpers, up to 1st level dressage, fox hunted, fall fairs, pony club and the hunter A circuit

He is very brave, sweet, honest and fun! He trailers like a pro and settles in at new places really well! Truly the type that a kid can do everything themselves!

He’s barefoot- has been his whole life and up to date on everything.

He competed in September 2023 in ottawa and the 2024 season on the Gold at palgrave. He’s ready to make the next kid fall in love with the sport!

Sunny has 3 smooth rhythmical gates that makes him a fabulous hunter pony. His easy going and friendly attitude makes him a favourite for building kids confidence and allowing them to enjoy the sport!

Sunny is currently finishing up his 2024 lease and will be available October 1. He is available to be tried by appointment

Since 2013, YMCA of Oakville and Kings Meadow have joined a unique partnership together! 2024 is going to be another fantastic year.

Not from Oakville? No problem, this year we have accepted drop offs and pickups directly to and from Kings Meadow.

Taking the time to step back and look from the outside, you will notice how large your support team truly is. There are never enough words or time to thank those each day. So here’s a small “Thank you” to those who are behind the scenes.

With Show Season around the corner we do our very best to minimize the chances of our horses getting ulcers. The trailering for either 1hr or 8hrs at a time, the intense training all year, weather changes, stabling off property for days or even weeks, routine changing daily, limited grazing at shows and the list goes on for possible reasons for ulcers to show themselves inside our hard working companions. KM uses ProFlora EQ and has seen huge improvements in all our mounts.

We are dispersing of all of our “extra” blankets. These blankets are a variety of sizes, makes and either new or well used. Flysheets, sheets, indoors, medium/heavy outdoors, rainsheets (mostly free rainsheets) and shipping boots.

The girths are also used in great condition.

Blankets will be free to rescues and other nonprofit organizations.

Unfortunately we are minimizing our group of horses and now have a few ready for their new homes.

This lovely medium pony is up for sale or lease. He has shown successfully SOCTA with junior riders. He loves to work and he knows his job when it comes to over fences, stadium or cross country. He can have alot of whoa and go when needed. We think he would best match a competitive program with one or two riders.

We had him in our camp program, which he loved being pampered and ridden by little ones. He is an up down ride, up to advanced riders. He lunges perfectly with a young rider on too. Been in our lesson program with novice to advanced riders.

He’s barefoot, lives outside and easy to bath, trailer and great for farrier and vet.

Christmas is around the corner and so is 2024. Come January, we have made some hard decisions which brings changes to our program and facility. These changes will open opportunities for individuals to lease or purchase a few of our lesson horses.

If you are looking for a specific mount please feel free to email or text us. Please give specific details what you are looking for, and we will see if we have anything that matches your needs.

Over the next couple weeks, I will work on videos and further information for each horse.

2019 14hh QH chestnut gelding. Used in lessons from beginners to intermediate, and as a camp pony.
He’s sweet, honest, brave to fences, loves to be pampered. He will need more miles over fences and crisper transitions but extremely quiet, easy to work with and handle. He’s currently barefoot and lives outside.
