The boys did amazing on their first solo loading yesterday.
They are now used to working in hand alone (prep for in hand show) so we decided to try to load them one at a time.
Last time they went on the trailer was this spring, when they went to get gelded.
Why these boys are still on the market is beyond me. About the best youngsters I’ve had the pleasure of working with.
Trailer leaving for KY/SC next week (the 26th), IA in 2 weeks and NS mid Oct……with space 🙂 2 for 1 trailering if lower 48 states/10 provinces and a route already heading somewhat in the direction you want.
Part 2, Star. The more sensitive one. Again Arianne is the awesome, quiet and reassuring handler.

Part 1 Blaze. He loaded so fast my camera had not opened. Arianne is the awesome, quiet and reassuring handler.
When you have the cutest helpers ❤
The boys are now geldings and as sweet and easy as ever.
We ended up taking the blankets off while they were still down 😂
And the first look at a tarp.
Pretty social creatures. ❤. Kara has a thing for zippers. As did her dad in his early years. 😇🤣
What superstars. First time they are tied. Now feeding will be easy. They did not think it strange at all. All are loose tied on a single haybale twine, so easy breakaway.
Yay, snow day for the babies.
Weaning time. ❤ The boys are going to live with Kara for the winter. So far, so good. Moms are calling a little but but the three foals and two mother are pretty settled.
The boys (mostly Blaze, surprise) trying limits with Moon the mini. 😀
This was the first film in the hayfield today 🤣😂
Got to add this one. It sums up, perfectly, life in the kindergarten paddock.
Twins being brats. Kara flat out sleeping (and snoring). DiDi (Kara’s mom) keeping an eye on the her kid and Essie, drumroll, eating 😂🤣
The boys being very ‘helpful’ with fencing.
Somewhat harmony at the hay 🙂
And we have integration happening. Essie with a muzzle as she can be a bit naughty with her teeth and other horses. So far ao good. Twins get a 6 week older ‘sister’ to play with, and uncles Champ and Moon.

Essie had me on babysitting duty while she took 5.

The good thing about twins is that mommy does not get ‘abused’ by the babies. They rear on each other instead 🙂
Twins on the go. (Our bush hog broke and it is hard to find the replacement piece hence the rough fields.)
They are growing up and Essie looks as great as ever. Not lost a pound even nursing two brats ❤

Trouble #1 and trouble #2 are growing so fast.
Thanks Kaitlyn 🙂
Twins first trailer ride. Alread pros. 🥰
First trailer outing for health check. Good mama and boys. Do not look too worried. 2h drive to clinic. About to start back home 🙂
Thank you to Rideau-St Lawrence clinic 🙂
Blaze testing out the suncap. Suits him well. Star said NO!
