Poppy pupdate!
“She is loving summer and learning new things! We’ve started puppy socialisation classes and loves an hour of mixing with her peers! She is very social! She loves to say hello to everyone and wants to be their friend. We’ve ventured down to the river but she’s not too sure about going in fully yet, choosing to just dip her toes to begin with!”

Chester pup-date:
“Chester had yet another great week, including his first day on the kayak. He was a bit restless at the beginning, but settled in quickly. And he met his new best friend Junior…who’s about 3 weeks older and like Chester, just wanted to play.”
Forrest Pup-date!
“Forrest is a natural. Fell a sleep in the big motor boat and just hung out in the kayak.”
Forrest also started puppy classes and is a great traveller! Good job Forrest!
“Tallulah is living her best life. She went camping for a week and learned how to swim. She loves to dig holes and here she was playing with the marmot”
From Maggie’s puppy mom:
“Land shark, jumps around like a baby foal. Loves water so far and discovered the bottom of mom and dad’s bed. Still very sweet and loves to give ear nibbles and kisses to everyone when she’s not being a shark. She also loves coming to work and destroying paper in my recycle bin.”
“Chester’s first real successful swim” and looks like he is still loving life at work during the day! Video in the comments, since it won’t let me do both photos and videos in the same post…
“Sadie thinks she is a lap dog, lol. She just climbs right up. 😂”
Chester went on a road trip to a wedding recently. From his puppy Dad:
“Chester did so well on our trip to Alberta. I think he may have even been more popular than the bride and groom. He travels so well, just sleeps most of the time.”
Looks like Willie was going a little crazy with the attention on all these new pups. Don’t worry Willie, we still love you. 😂

Becket pup-date!
From his puppy mom:
“Becket is getting lots of socialization with the miniature schnauzer and rottie cross across the street and with our neighbours in general. He doesn’t mind fireworks, leaf blowers or the vacuum, but he does not like the lawnmower. The vets and groomer love him already. He is a mischievous monkey! He loves playing keep away (we try not to turn chasing into a game) and he has decapitated all my plants with blooms.”
With those sweet eyes it would be hard to be upset for long! ❤️
Chester is getting taller every day and starts puppy classes this week! He’s still enjoying going to work with his puppy Dad too. ☺️
A few more Forrest photos today! Outgrowing chairs and kennels, curled up and ready for bed, being a sleepy champ in the car, laying patiently while mom makes supper, the cutest attention seeking eyes you ever did see, and bonding with a new furry friends.

“Ripley got a new red collar…and went for his first “swim” today…he fell in by accident 😅. He also thinks he is a lap dog, despite getting quite big! He is well-mannered and beautiful.”

Poppy is doing amazing in her new home! From her puppy mom:
“She is doing really well, has made her way into lots of hearts, this side of the world and in the UK, helped daddy celebrate a big birthday and is a confident and friendly little pupster. Her mantra seems to be “If I fits, I sits!”.”
Chester had a great week, and especially enjoyed the long weekend. He is growing steadily and looking fabulous!
Beautiful Miss Maggie is growing fast! She’s super playful and has the zoomies these days. What a cutie! 🤗
Blue is doing great! Clearly he is living his best life. His puppy mom says they love having him around and he’s been a great addition to the family! ❤️
Forrest is living his best life with the family of his dreams, along with lots of fun fur-siblings. From his puppy mom:
“He has been amazing. Sleeps 7-8 hours at night. Plays hard all morning then sleeps and has quiet time in his room for a couple of hours in the afternoon. Then plays hard, has a couple of power naps, then heads to bed by himself by 10…no accidents overnight and only one in the house. He is eating well and can sleep anywhere. He has no fear of noise, and even sat on the deck watching the thunderstorm. Absolutely no issues or concerns.”

Tallulah pup-date! She is doing great in a very loving home. Tallulah is going to be attending a family wedding in the next couple of weeks, with a collar that matches the bride’s dress and turns from white to neon pink in the black lights! So fun! 💕 From her puppy mom:
“She loves the back yard and belly rubs. She is a climber so we are working on keeping her safe while allowing her to explore. Her favorite game is tug-of-war. She loves sitting in a chair lol. And posing for the camera. She always gives me daily ear kisses.”
Ripley Pup-date! This big boy is mastering furniture climbing and he loves his bed! He enjoys playing fetch... His leash training is going well with his puppy mom... the kids he still pulls though! And his recall is good when he’s not too distracted. He doesn’t run away, and comes when called ☺️ Got his lay down mastered, and he can sit. He’s loving first trips to his new property too!
Chester has been heading to work every day with his puppy Dad and he is the most popular one at the office. His new motto is work hard, play hard…and then crash. Saying he is very well loved is an understatement. ❤️
Pup-date on Poppy…she has settled in well, loves to explore, and loves her swing! We’re so grateful for her awesome puppy parents!

We have 6 in Alberta, 3 in B.C. and 1 in Ontario this time around! Everyone got home safe and sound. Pups are adjusting well and we have 10 wonderful families spoiling 10 lucky puppies!

Love this update from Ripley’s puppy mom! “Ripley has been doing so well learning his new tricks! His tail wags during every paddle board ride cuz he knows he gets to go for a swim! He’s walking on a leash like a champ, no harness needed, he barely pulls! He’s loving meeting other dogs, and is quite submissive and shy with them until he warms up a bit. That’s not the case with people though! He loves attention and adventures. Oh and he knows how to “drop it”!”
Let the pup-dates begin! I have a few to post over the next few days, so many fun and exciting things to share from each puppy’s new home. Look at this little smartie-pants Maggie learning some fun new tricks with her awesome puppy mama! Go Maggie! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼And I love that she still has a purple collar! ❤️🥰
Pups are officially going to their new homes starting tomorrow. I’ve been doing lots of go-home prep this past week and feeling lots emotions….but mostly so grateful to have found 10 loving, exceptional families for these pups to be welcomed into. 💕

Peso getting his paces in. ❤️ When playing fetch with Penny, Peso (always the gentleman) usually just runs beside her excited, letting her get the stick, or if he gets it first, he gives it to her right away. He LOVES to play on his own though and get the full experience, so we like to make sure he gets his one on one play time too.
Another shout out to Penny, our all star dog mom! She’s a fabulous mama, these pups get so excited when she walks in the room. She loves to check on them and make sure everything is ok, she monitors everyone who comes through the front door, she’s just an all-around good, protective mama. She’s definitely reached the “I’m ready to start weaning these puppies” phase, so feeding from mom is slowly decreasing, but she still wants to spend time and play with them. Thanks for teaching these puppies so much Penny! 🫶🏼
Just some weekend morning fun…🐶🥰
It’s so important to pair your training/grooming etc with positive association! The puppies have had their nails clipped 4 times now, and we always have treats and snuggles on hand, as well as lots of paw massage so they get used to their paws being handled. Snuffle mats are an awesome reward (or anytime rainy day activity) for your pup, as they have so many benefits, and dogs just love them. One of the great benefits of snuffle mats is that they sharpen your pup’s sense of smell, which is a dog’s most important sense, and greatly helps with nose work and mental stimulation. If nail clipping or brushing (or whatever the task may be) is always an exciting and special event, your pup will look forward to rather than dread the experience. And bonus…so will you!

This video was from over the weekend, puppies’ first time outside. The weather was gorgeous and they loved the sunshine and outside play time! Best thing about having puppies in the spring time! ☀️
I know the puppies are going to love this little bit of extra room! They are doing so great with their potty training, and they really deserved and needed a bit more space to play. Here’s hoping they can figure out what to do with the extra space and that there is no regression with the potty training!
