New commission finished!!

It’s was World Rat Day yesterday and I missed it (again). I hate it when then happens.

But better late than never, I bring you this little beauty who belongs to the lovely Hayley Wainwright.

I don’t know what she’s called, but I’ve named her Alicia Cheese.

Alicia likes authentic Scottish hummus, getting too big for her boots when shopping for wellies, and the thrill of a deleted message in the ‘Office’ WhatsApp group chat.

This one is quite obviously drawn in my ultra-realistic style, so usual reminder that my picture is the image on the right. (The slight give away is the subtle differences in the hand)

We are ON HIATUS! Dog sports are back, and things are extremely busy for us again. I have no litters planned for some time, and the last of the pups from our previous litters will be delivered to their new homes in a few weeks. 🌸

I want everything in Silvermane (aka D’Argent) now!

Silvermane is a relatively new coat type, said to have been discovered in 2012 by a rattery in North Carolina. The coat is very soft, with a silvered appearance that shows up best on darker coat colours, and often looks more striking as the rat matures. The slivering comes from the ends of the hair shafts being translucent. Silvermane can also be combined with other coat types, such as velveteen.

Dood is a Silvermane, and his first litter with Pitchy produced a number of wonderful pups to further our new line, like this little guy who will be staying with us. Reasons Spark
