It’s not often we get a coffee companion before work! 🥰 Ursula is a sneaky one: she likes to make her grand appearances when everyone is asleep!

We’re a bit behind in posts, so we’ll be playing catch-up in the following says. Usually we try to make a post every couple of days, but our summer has been crazy: broken air conditioner, broken car, personal life and work… We never seem to run short of chaos! 🤪

A green budgie was spotted yesterday at Pioneer Village. If you are in the area, please keep an eye out! 💕 Playing budgie videos may draw its attention to you. Budgies are notorious biters, so if you’re attempting to catch it please use a net or a towel!

The lovebird who’s been roaming the Harbour Landing area of the city has been spotted again! 🤞 We can still help him!

We’ve been notified that he’s attempting to enter homes. If this bird is trying to enter, please let it in if you can. Our primary goal is to get him indoors, as he flies away when approached outside. Use a towel, a fishing net, a box, or a cage if you are able to. Playing lovebird videos from YouTube can also draw his attention to you. Once he’s secured, contact us or the Regina Humane Society immediately.

Oops! We forgot to post for Canada Day! 🥲🇨🇦

The 1st of every month is the time we start deep cleans of the enclosures. Between that, housework, and other business tasks, we lost track of time until it was way too late!

We hope everyone had a great time, whether it was relaxing at home, at a gathering, or enjoying the festivities around the city! Louisa and a few others got to enjoy some fresh bedding for the holiday.

Vixey found her forever home last week! 😍 We were originally planning on keeping her as a future breeder—because, well, look at how BEAUTIFUL she is!—but ultimately we decided she deserves to have a hooman family to call home. Congratulations, little one! 💕

It’s been a week and Mr. Knight’s family still hasn’t stepped forward. 😞

While we’re waiting to hear back from the humane society about how we should proceed, Knight’s been enjoying his time at his foster’s house, binkying and getting all the love and snuggles. 🥰 What a spoiled bun.

The lovie was spotted again just now at one of the apartments on Parliament. There are several people searching for it now. If you live in the area, keep an eye on your cameras and feeders. Approach it slowly and gently as it may fly away. If you have a net, use it. Let’s get this baby safe indoors! 🙌

Another domestic rabbit was found outdoors being hunted by a crow. He is now safely indoors and at a potential foster’s home while we get things sorted. Thank you to his saviour for welcoming him into your home! 💕❤️

On June 1st one of our followers brought us a budgie that was found outdoors. Today, we were able to reunite Snowball with his family! 💕 Thank you everyone for all your help!

A couple of donations have rolled in the last couple of weeks! We’ve received a hamster bin enclosure with a variety of small animal accessories, and some paper bedding that the donator no longer needed as their last ratty passed away. 💔🌈 Adoptable Chewy says thank you for the supplies!

It’s time to let the hams out of the bag! 😍 Phoenix, one of our new breeders, and Geronimo had a litter of nine pups that will be four weeks old this Friday! We will be making a post in the following days to officially introduce everyone to the little gaffers, but in the meantime, enjoy this adorable photo we got of baby Louisa winking! 🥹

Mouse and Neo have had little to know interest since coming back to the rescue, which is why we want to give everyone an update!

Mouse and Neo are brothers that were born in late November of 2022. They had been adopted before, but due to unfortunate circumstances beyond anyone’s control, they had to come back. They LOVE their hay and veggies, and are incredibly food motivated! They like to have a variety of chews and hides in their enclosure.

Mouse is an incredible piggy. He loves to snuggle and is always asking for attention! He is comfortable with grooming sessions and nail clipping time. Sometimes he will remind his brother that he is the dominant boy, but he will never hurt him. Mouse is intelligent, knows when it’s feeding time, and when his humans are awake!

Neo is more reserved and skittish, but will follow his brother around when it’s time for an adventure. He likes snuggle time too, but will protest a bit before he settles in. He’s not quite yet comfortable with being groomed, but is tolerant of having his nails trimmed.
