WDC will be offering a puppy class starting on Saturday, January 18, 2025 and running until March 1 (no class on February 8th). Class will start at 12:00 noon.

The Wascana Dog Club will be holding an obedience sanction match on Monday, December 9, 2024 commencing at 11:00 AM. The purpose of the match is to assist an impending obedience judge with obtaining the numbers required to fulfill her requirements as an obedience judge.

Obedience Fun Match - Sunday, December 15, 2024

If interesting in attending, please email your dog's name, class and jump height, if applicable, to [email protected].

For this fun match, we will be utilizing the new rules for the Pre-Novice, Novice and Open classes that come into effect January 1.

Starting time will depend on number of entries but probably around 10:00 AM.

Members: No charge. Non Members: $10.00.

Just a reminder that entries for the January 4, 2025 obedience trial open today (Friday) at 1:00.

A fun match is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, December 15. This will give you the opportunity to practice the new rules that will be in place effective January 1.

Save the date! On Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 7:00-8:00 PM, Lianne Daradics will be giving a quick update on the obedience rule changes that come into effect January 1, 2025. This will take place at the Wascana Dog Club building at 513 Ross Avenue East, Regina.

These changes will be in place at the January 4, 2025 obedience trial.

Save the date! Wascana Dog Club will be holding a one day obedience trial on Saturday, January 4, 2025. The Premium List will be posted in the next week or so with entries scheduled to open on November 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Trial will be set at 420 minutes so lots of room for entries!

In preparation for the November 2 & 3, 2024 obedience trials, Wascana Dog Club will be holding an Obedience Fun Match on Saturday, October 19, 2024.

Registration for the upcoming Adolescent Class, starting in September, opens today at 3:00 PM.

Registration for the October session also opens today at 3:00 PM.

Wascana Dog Club will be holding a fundraiser garage sale on May 3rd and 4th, 2024 at 16 Kingsmere Avenue, White City. The sale will start at 8:00 AM on both days and run until activity slows down.

The Grooming Room will also be on site on Saturday, May 4th from approximately 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM doing toe nail trims for $10.00 per pet.

Please note the specific considerations in White City for the event:

Please be courteous to all residents in the RM of Edenwold and the Town of White City and ensure you are not driving or parking on grass and/or block driveway access.

Community Safety Officers from both municipalities will be out on patrol during the weekend to help advise and keep things moving.

Specific considerations in White City for the event:

o Unless otherwise noted below, please only park on one side of the street to keep roadways open for emergency vehicles - in most areas in White City please park on the same side as EVEN HOUSE NUMBERS
o LOTT ROAD EAST: Please park on the NORTH SIDE of Lott Road East (along ODD HOUSE NUMBERS) - please do not drive or park on the concrete pedestrian pathway.
o MOTHERWELL DRIVE: Please park on the
EAST AND SOUTH SIDE of Motherwell Drive (along EVEN HOUSE NUMBERS) - please do not drive or park on the concrete pedestrian pathway.
o FAIRWAY CRESCENT: This area will be a one-way road for the weekend. When entering Fairway Crescent, STAY RIGHT and park on the same side as EVEN HOUSE NUMBERS around the entire crescent - please do not drive in the opposite flow of traffic.
• EMERALD CREEK DRIVE & ROAD: This area will be a one-way road for the weekend. When entering the Emerald Creek area, STAY RIGHT and park on the same side as EVEN HOUSE NUMBERS around the entire crescent
