Sheila's Dog Services offers individual and group walks for dogs in the Stittsville area.Since a young age I've had a love for all animals, especially all things dog! At age 13, I took it upon myself to attend training classes with our beloved Golden Retriever and my passion grew from there! I come from an education background with children and my passion for animals has taken me in this direction

of providing dog services. I have been walking dogs for a few years and continue to educate myself by attending workshops, training classes and watching online training videos.

Good morning it’s not too late to register for classes beginning this Monday at 6 PM.
This class will be beneficial for many reasons. It’s important as dog owners we keep our dogs stimulated experiencing new situations at all stages of life. This class will allow socialization from a distance, using our dogs brains and strengthening bonds.
If you want your dog to experience something fun and stimulating, this class is for you !

Happy start of September! I hope that everyone has had a wonderful summer.

Sheila's Dog Services will be offering two sessions of outdoor classes during the month of September. I will be hosting a puppy class and an adult dog class.

There are limited spaces that will be filled on a first come basis. The goal of my classes is to integrate our dogs into everyday life by instilling confidence in your dog and you as a handler. We accomplish this together through building on leadership and teamwork.

This are the moments I treasure as a trainer. I love experiencing clients growth through leadership. Penny arrived to puppy class as a pretty bouncy young gal and she has made amazing progress. The confidence and growth I’ve seen from her people is amazing.

Puppy class graduation 👨‍🎓

One of the many benefits of my dog classes. We look at different collars/tools/leashes that will help improve your walk implementing the skills leaned in class.

I am a huge advocate of crate training. Crate training provides a safe, calm place for our dogs to do nothing but completely relax. As you can see in the video we practice this skill while I’m at home as well as when we go out. I would say the doggies are pretty relaxed 😎 The crate ensures the dogs will not get into anything and that they are safe when left alone. As a part of my training services, I offer one on one sessions that can include crate training.
