"Dear Spectrum Internet, Today your technician Robert came to our home to upgrade our internet and help us start up TV streaming. He walked into a mess. My son, Sailor, is three years old. He was born with two rare brain defects and he is blind. He is unable to communicate his needs, and today has been rough for him. He has been crying all morning. I’ve been trying to soothe him while also meeting the needs of my two year old daughter, cleaning, washing dishes, and doing laundry while my husband works. It’s just been a tough day. When Robert walked in and started talking, Sailor ran to him and reached up. Robert didn’t seem bothered at all and, instead, held my son off and on for the whole 45 minutes he was in our home. He snuggled him close while I folded laundry. It was a huge relief to this tired momma. Robert could have walked in, rushed, and left but instead he saw a need greater than internet and met it. That’s beyond customer service- it’s humanity at its best. Robert deserves a raise... a promotion... something! He’s an asset to your company and I will never forget his kindness. The sparkly balls on top here are not safe toys for cats! My foster Hedgie had to have emergency surgery to remove two from her stomach and intestines. I threw all of these away. I had just bought a package. Because of the barbs on a cat's tongue, these can more easily get ingested. Once swallowed, they absorb fluid and become large, too large to pass. She vomited up three-four of them, then became lethargic and stopped eating. Thank you to all at Sheets Pet Clinic who cared for her immediately and swiftly. Never had a problem with them before, but this experience makes me not want to take chances ever again. I feel horrible for giving them to her to play with and hope to spare someone else from having to learn the lesson I learned today.

A Stray Cats Prayer

Please send me somebody who really does care.
I'm so tired of running and sick with despair.

My body is aching and filled with such pain;
Everyday I hope, as I run in the rain
That someone will love me and give me a home,
A warm cosy bed, and food of my own.

My owner left me alone in the yard...
I watched them move house , and that was so hard.
So I waited a while, then went on my way
To rummage in bins and live as a stray.

But now, I'm so tired and hungry and cold;
And I'm so afraid that I will never grow old.
They've chased me with sticks and hit me with straps
While I run the streets just looking for scraps.

I'm not really bad, please help if you can,
For I have become just a "Victim of Man."
I'm wormy, I'm scruffy, and I'm riddled with fleas;
And all that I want is an owner to please.

If you find one for me, I'll try to be good.
I won't scratch the carpet; I'll do as I should.
I'll love them, play with them, and try to obey.
I will be so grateful if they'll let me stay.

I don't think I'll make it too long on my own,
'Cause I'm getting weak and I'm so all alone.
Each night as I sleep in the bushes I cry,
I'm so afraid, that I'm gonna die.

I've got so much love and devotion to give
I should be given a new chance to Live.
My friends today, this is my prayer ,
That someone will find me, who will really care.
That you will help, get me out of the cold .
And together we can be friends as we grow old.
