When we purchased our acreage in 2008 we decided to finally go through with a dream of mine. Owning and operating a boarding kennel and grooming. Here at Country Freedom Kennels we want your pets to feel more at home than you in your hotel suite. No body wants a pouting puppy! We take great pride in caring for
your little loves, we know how hard it can be to leave them behind in unfamiliar surroundings. We love, cuddle and play. There's never a dull moment here, we have 6 dogs of our own (yes we know it's a lot, and no, only one sleeps in our bed), 7 cats, 3 horses and 1 protective llama... Frodo. Our kennel is climate controlled for our guests comfort. It includes 9 indoor/outdoor kennels and a large run for off leash play. Kennels for small to medium sized dogs measure 3 feet by 5 feet inside and 3 feet by 6 feet outside. Kennels for medium to large dogs measure 4 feet by 5 feet inside and 4 feet by 6 feet outside. The outside of our kennel is surrounded by the 4 foot windbreak wall which is covered by a lean-to help on our great winter days. As we have owned 2 Miniature Pinchers we know how difficult it can be to find a boarding kennel for them. so for ones needing more care and of smaller size we have an area in our grooming salon we keep for our miniature breeds and cats. They will get daily exercise and play in the off leash area. Fed on their home schedule. We look forward to taking the stress out of your boarding and/or grooming experience... you are always... yes always, more stressed than them. We are located midway between Archerwill and Rose Valley, 2 miles down the Nut Lake Church Road. Then North to the first farm on the East side of the road. NOT required: bowls, leashes, beds, blankets. REQUIRED: food, ALL vaccinations INLCUDING Bordatella. Bordatella (dogs only), or Kennel Cough vaccination is not part of regular vaccines and must be done at least 2 weeks prior to vacationing with us. Consists of a simple quick and easy nasal inhalant at your local vet. This is to protect your animals, our animals and all others staying here. Under NO circumstances will any animal without proof of vaccinations from your vet be allowed at our vicinity as well as any animal with fleas that has not been treated. Again this is to protect all involved.
