ADR is a non-profit organization with no paid employees. Every penny goes into providing care for dogs that need us. All funds come from donations, fund raising, grants, and our modest adoption fee. We can't do this without you!

Hey everyone - Farmfair International has asked us to do winer dog races on Saturday November 9th at 11:00am & at 2:00PM.
If you are interested in having your little racer get out and burn off some energy, this could just be the place to be!
We will need to have the dogs all pre-registered so we know what the numbers will be.
We will also have a booth set up with some swag to sell as well.

It’s been two weeks since ADR Wienerama! We had about 750 people (including our volunteers and vendors) come out and 400 dogs! Thank you everyone for helping make this event a success in support of Alberta Dachshund Rescue We have dogs of all ages come into the rescue. Pictured below are two senior dogs that were adopted last year, Dexter 12, and Pippa 11. We have two puppies that are being fostered now, Nala and tiny little Kevin. Stay tuned to ADRs page and website for updates!
