Our new imported KWPN mare Las Vegas Fly (Full Color Van de Nethe by Baloubet du Rouet, x Voltaire x Kroongraaff) was just confirmed in foal to our young 3yo stallion Vibes Lover LS !

This foal has 50% chances to be homozygous since sire is and dam is tobiano as well !

Very good schooling today for Up Love LS in the .90 in the International Ring at the International Bromont ! She was forward, positive and happy to play over the jumps. Stephanie Drassel was really happy to do her come back in the ring with her favorite girl 😜🥰

Do we play the name game ??? Since this foal wasn't claimed before birth, it comes to us to choose the name.... or to the new owner if it arrives early enough 🤓

Name :
- Dad is Visage so a name starting in V (yes again 😂)
- He had 1,56% of being what he is (Roszicka's 3rd homozygous c**t in a row), so if the name can relate to that it would be awesome
- He has a partial blue eye
- Will end with the initials LS

Il faut lire l'histoire avant de trouver le mystère 😄

C'était un beau samedi soir. Roszicka nous avait dit 2 jours plus tôt qu'elle se préparait, on se connaît si bien qu'on a pas besoin de parler.

Elle a commencé à s'activer juste quand je l'ai fait entrer. Je suis retournée à la maison pour la laisser s'installer, et quand j'ai senti qu'elle était prête en la regardant à la caméra, je suis descendu à l'écurie. Elle a perdu les eaux juste quand elle a su que j'étais avec elle !

Pendant qu'on l'aidait un peu à le sortir, Étienne s'est exclamé. Puis j'ai regardé et vu les taches... Est-ce qu'elle nous offrait vraiment un TROISIÈME POULAIN HOMOZYGOTE DE SUITE ???

Retour à la concentration, la priorité était de bien le sortir et de s'occuper de lui et de maman Rosz.

Ça n'a pas pris longtemps il respirait, bougeait, se débrouillait bien !

Après un peu de repos pour les deux, ils étaient debout, il buvait et se tenait tout seul !

Nous prenions enfin le temps d'analyser la situation. Il ressemblait en fait à un autre poulain homozygote. Mais surtout, il avait l'air en très bonne forme, heureux et prêt pour cette vie, ce que nous adorons voir !

Et... nous ne pouvions pas croire nos yeux qu'elle semble réellement avoir produit un 3e poulain homozygote de suite.... I mean... regardez le calcul de probabilité 😳 Ce qui est rare, ne l'est plus chez nous 😱 😅

Me voilà, en train d'écrire ce post, quelque chose comme 14 heures après sa naissance. Sur chaque photo que je regarde et que j'edit, je vois quelque chose que je pensais avoir vu, mais je pensais que ce n'était rien... Vous le voyez ??? 👀

On ne peut pas remercier Roszicka assez pour ce qu'elle fait pour nous 🥰 Elle fait clairement un travail INCROYABLE avec Copabella Visage !

And just like that we are on foal watch 😃

Yesterday she told me something was starting to bother her, today she told me IT WAS bothering her. We know each other very well, so in we go. I test her « milk » and PH paper is already green which means we are getting closer, and she has physical changes too ! ☺️🍼

I don’t think it’s for tonight but we are getting there 👏🤩

That will be our 5th Roszicka baby 🙏😍
