The quality breeding of home raised King Charles Cavalier Spaniels Our guardianship program for all our Moms is to make this happen.

With a love for dogs and a special place for the King Charles Cavalier spaniel and over 25 years of handling pets I decided to find away to keep improving the breed. Along with other breeders whom have recognized that pure bred dogs from over breeding for centuries have developed numerous genetic defects. Its humans that have done this , not the canine breed, if they are in the wild they do not ca

re if they are quote Pure bred . Care needs to be taken to carefully select Females from parents whom are tested clear of Mitral heart disease, corneal ulcers and any other health issue. Females need to be mature approx. 2 years and tested clear themselves before selecting a healthy tested clear Male for breeding. If the female successfully has a litter and enjoys being a Mom that most do then another 1 or 2 litters over the next 2 -3 years should be enough, think about it they usually have 4-6 not 1 like us humans. King Charles Cavalier spaniels are lap dogs and can not survive happily in a kennel, they need the loving home of a family to live with and Love. Cavaliers think they are humans and we strive to let them believe this!
