The 4.8oz.(136g) trial size is perfect for cats new to our products. We recommend starting with the trial size just to be sure you and your cat are happy with the product and change in diet.
A trial size pouch will make 6 pounds of finished food and enough for one adult cat for about 21 days (3 weeks)

🐈 The recipe for a 3lb batch of cat food 🐈‍⬛

🍗 2lbs. (900g) meat of your choice, ground or chopped
💧 1 1/2 cups of water
🐾 1/2 cup of Know Better for Cats Premix

Combine together well and serve. Portion the rest in serving sizes. The fresh meat will keep in the fridge for up to 48 hours and freeze the rest for storage.

For the cooked preparation, be sure to let the meat and water cool to room temperature and then add the premix. Heating the premix can destroy essential nutrients.

Making a large batch of dog food in the sink, makes for easy mixing and cleanup! This weeks doggie dinner for Takoda, included Beef & Pumpkin with Know Better for Dogs Premix 🐶🥩🎃

We doubled the recipe:

4lbs (1.8kg) lean ground beef
1 large can (32oz or 796ml) of pure pumpkin
3 cups water
1 cup Know Better for Dogs Premix

Mix together well and serve! Package the remainder in serving size portions. Keep one or two in the fridge and freeze the rest. Happy mixing!

For more flavour and variety, you could always substitute the water for low sodium beef or chicken broth.

Tonight’s doggie dinner! Ground elk, sardines in spring water and our Know Better premix. Our pup Sally is currently dealing with allergies and elk seems to be the best protein for her. We are working with a Holistic Veterinarian and Chinese medicine to help her find some relief with scratching 🐾❤️
