I know it has been awhile since I posted but I’m not gone! Just enjoying the summer and exploring some new sculpting options. ✌️ Summer is short in Canada and with a small hobby farm there is always so much extra to do! What is keeping you busy now…artistically or otherwise? Here we have 15 ducklings hatched by Mama to try to care for during our crazy temperature changes. I’m trying to get in some sculpting in between water changes. So many water changes…😂.

Sorry I’ve not posted much recently as I’m away from the bench and currently traveling in 🇬🇹 Guatemala. What better way to spend some time than to learn about the importance of jade historically here and try my hand at carving some of my own at in Antigua! My maestra Carmen was warm and friendly and we had lots of laughs while I carved my lilac jade. She even kept an eye on Black Phillip for me. 💙 Stonecutting lapidary artists…I appreciate you! 🫶 It’s tough work! Gracias Carmen y Casa Del Jade!
