What a blast Sunday last weekend was as we hosted our first fundraising Equine First Aid Course from Equi-Health Canada program!

Our next course is Sunday February 5th Birch Bay Ranch for the Advanced Equine First Aid Course.

With 2022 under our belts. We had a Successful show of events early in 2022 with our big rides in Lloygminster, Vegreville and at the Ranch.

Here is to a great new year in 2023 where we can start fresh and start anew with a great team.

Birch Bay Ranch Drill Team is excited about their 2nd season running. They are preparing for shows in different areas of Alberta for April & May. The cost of attending these demonstrations start to add up on costs, so the team has lined up some fundraisers to help with those expenses.

On January 15th Birch Bay Ranch is hosting Equi-Health Canada's Equine Health & Emergency First Aid Training as a fundraiser!
This is a must have course for anyone who rides horses, works with horses and owns horses. Full-Day of training with lots of hands on practice to ensure that you are comfortable with the skills you are learning. First Aid Training does not replace your veterinarians, but it can save your horses life as you are their first responder. With the growing demand on our veterinarians there is no better time to get this education so that you are prepared should you ever find yourself in an equine medical emergency.
The Course Topics include: Vitals, Pain Detection, Bleeding Wounds, Puncture Wounds, Eye Injuries, Colic & Digestive Emergencies, Hypothermia & Frost Bite, Hyperthermia & Heat Stroke, Collapse, Hoof Injuries and Disease, and so much more.
Course Cost $159/person
Include Manual, Vitals Card & Certificate upon completion of the training day.
