We see this so often in the store. In such a distracting environment, with a cold hard floor so many dogs fail at this cue. It frustrates handlers (and dogs) so maybe it deserves a rethink? The best trainers in the store come armed with a good supply of high-value reinforcers and really work on engagement instead of stationary cues.
