As we finish another week, desperately seeking donations and trying to raise funds, our little Roewan reminds us why we are here!
Brought into care with multiple breaks to her right rear leg, she has had her amputation and is thriving and healing.

Then, one of our little kittens who have been in care with his mom since June, his system just couldn't or didn't want to work and needed an emergency vet visit. His Foster2Adopt home is devastated as they tried everything with the shelter to help him thrive. RosieRosario (Mozzie), although you were only with us on this earth for a short 3 months, you will be missed!

Without the care of SimcoeDHumane, both animals would have suffered tremendously, outside, alone. Without a chance to live or a chance to be pain free.

We need your help as we help the animals that need us most! Your donation will help in an animal's life.
Both were over $3,000 and we need to raise these funds today!

Another $5 Friday! Do you remember the old Advertisement 5 Bucks, 5 Bucks, 5 Bucks ... well today we need much more than this to pay off our debt to our vets and keep up with our shelter obligations.

Over the last few months, donations and fundraising have been lower than ever.
With that, the month of July brought many animals, many injuries, illnesses and surgeries, and in the blink of an eye ended with bills over $30,000.

Although we slowed intake, tightened our belts, and needed to refuse intakes, emergencies still found us in August and whatever we tried just wasn't enough.

Roewan, a cute little 10 week old female tabby with a rear, right leg, broken in multiple places, needed immediate amputation.

We need to catch up financially as quickly as we can. We still have 157 animals to feed and treat. We will continue to help new animals once our bills are paid.

Please give this $5 Friday ... $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 or more ... we desperately need your support today!!

Thank you to those who have donated $ over the last few weeks, those who have donated their time to help at the shelter, those who have donated food and litter, and a special thank you to those businesses Dave Bate BHI Home Improvements, Jess Morris Excavating, and others who have brought in much needed dirt, items for the building, and donated time to install and move dirt around.

Thank you everyone for helping!

Today, we said "goodbye" to a great cover that worked so well for us for many years.

A Big Thank You to John Gudinskas, Frank, John Bergsma for getting the office trailer off the property so we can move forward with our plans.

Sorry about the last reel or post that lost it's sound.

We need help please! Help to move 2 rubbermaid sheds without doing major damage and then we need to move this mobile home. This trailer was donated and has served us well over the last 10 years. It is now older and holier than ever!

Once moved, we need a shed lifted. Then the dirt can be leveled.

This has been a long number of years waiting for work to process.

Please contact [email protected] or 5194289161 press 2 if you can help

It's that time of year when our Canada Summer Jobs Funding is over and our young people can move forward with their education or move forward with another employment opportunity.
We appreciate their time they have dedicated to SimcoeDHumane over the summer and all the work they have done for the animals.
Many of the young people this year have chosen further education in Animal Care; Veterinary Technician, Veterinarian of companion animals and/or wildlife, conservation.
To all of our young people ~ We wish you all the very best in your future endeavours!
