(Mistake sorted, faith in the world restored ❤)

Sorry folks - need a new e-transfer policy. After today, people will have to wait until their e-transfer clears before I give them their pork.
This $200 lesson will now be applied to generally beefing up security around the farm, as we have been a bit too trusting. It was bound to happen eventually - thanks to all those that have been awesome until this point (it was *everyone*, for more than five years, until one sale today!).
If it's you that is enjoying more than $200 of delicious small-farm pork, and you didn't know that your e-transfer didn't come through, please contact me and we'll make sure all is well. (It's not you, Jon 😊).

All year, one of our farmkids waits for Little Red Plums. They're a favourite, and this is the first year we've ever had enough to consider selling (though farmkid in question may claim otherwise!). Perfect little jewels of balanced sweet/tart, possibly the best plum in the history of plums. Save us, we can't stop eating them. Open Sat am (right now!), 9-11. (Also open for pork!)

We've got PORK!! Refilled on everything, including sausage (italian, bratwurst, breakfast). Lots of ribs for the BBQ, roasts for pulled pork, and ham for picnics at the river. And bacon, for BACON.

Our primary farmer is moving a bit slowly due to an accident (never argue with an unpredictable dog), but she's got lots of help to pack your order up for you.

We're trying out being open 9-11, Saturday mornings, if you'd like to wander over and see what we've got.

Our annual hide tanning camp-out is back, with a twist!

Camp for four days at the lovely Cast Iron Farm Co-op on the Sooke River, southern Vancouver Island. We'll end with a shared meal provided by Fern + Roe and you'll walk away from summer camp with your new leather textile + the skills to carry on.
