Welcome to the sleepy boys pic collection.

January is always a sucky month for us bc between payments is 48 days which is a looooong stretch! All we did this month was sleep, eat, play outside when it was nice and snuggle 😆 even the cat joined in!

Update for Pibbers: hes doing SO WELL. Yesterday i fed them breakfast and crated them. I went upstairs and pretended to do some laundry with Auntie Aly talking to me. I snuck out and Pibbers whines a tiny bit but when auntie Aly said to shush HE DID!! And he was Q U I E T the whole 15 mins i was gone!! Thats HUGE progress!!! Incase you wernt here or dont remember pibber pot has one of the most severe forms of anxiety ive ever seen. Especially around me leaving. Typically when i leave whether it be with Auntie Aly here or not he usually needs medication to help him settle. But yesterday he did it UNMEDICATED!!!!! Huuuge progress!!! Ironically Noodle was more upset than pit was 😆

Also as you scroll through the photos you can see just how soft and floppy his ears have gotten!! Ive never seen pibbers ears so relaxed. He use to eat 5-6 cups of food a day and was still skin and bone. Now? He eats 1.5 cups a day and hes maintaining his weight! So proud of him! We also had an accidental test of his recall last night. Last night we were outside going potty (Noodle was already inside) he was hooked up to his chain outside and there must have been a weak link because he saw a off leash dog with no owner charge at me, 2 pulls on the line and he was G O N E. immediately i rushed to the street to correct him. I called his name and yelled Captain which is our emergency recall word and HE FROZE AND TURNED AROUND to come back!!! Another huge win!!! Usually he cannot be recalled off a trigger im so proud of him!!!

Noodle is doing amazing however hes a touch salty we dont work as much. Its harder in the winter bc the snow makes the roads gross and due to the fact we live VERY rurally and we're surrounded by farmers fields if there is wind we get a lot of blowing snow which makes the roads awful. Hopefully come summer we'll be able to go out more! Noodle is LOVING small town life regardless and loves walking around town 🩵

We hope everyone is having a great 2025!!

Ours started off sh*tty. Mom woke up New Years day to a really stiff and dull achy neck. We took a trip to the local ER about 20ish minutes away and it turned out mom had a infection in her neck that they later (on her second ER trip) discovered was from an infected tooth. Her infected tooth was throwing infection down her neck and it was slowly creeping towards her port. Thankfully mom is good at watching her vitals and as soon as her vitals went above her baseline she knew something was wrong. The hospital was amazing with me and ignored me the whole time. They even allowed me to stay with mom while she got Xrays. Dont worry the tech said the xray machine would not hurt me 🥰 mom got antibiotics and sent home the first time. The second time she went in about a week later the infection was slowing but not disappearing yet so more antibiotics and monitoring. Its been 2 weeks since and mom is doing much better! Shes still on muscle relaxers to keep her neck from seizing up but shes healing well!

I took mom to the toof dogtor after that fiasco and they confirmed moms tooth has a cavity and was infected. They booked another appointment to fix it for this friday so hopefully it'll get fixed up and mom will be good as new!

Mom was also laughing because i have decided snuggling her legs/bum is my new fav hobby and i have some interesting sleeping positions. Daddy also loves to snuggle mom but he prefers to have his head next to moms head. We're just snuggly velcro guys who love their mom.

Finally last night mom decided to be lil miss fix it and took apart the washing machines agitator. It has 2 pieces that are suppose to spin however the top part was no longer spinning. Turns out the teeth were broke off. Mom ordered new teeth and popped them in and BOOM it works again!! Now our clothes will be ultra clean! 🧼

Merry Christmas Eve Eve!!

Tomorrow we go to Nana and Papa's house and on Christmas day we go visit Nanny and Poppy!! (My parents are divorced so the boys get 2 Christmas') The boys are excited they love Nana. Daddy hasnt been to Nanas house yet so it'll be exciting! Noodle loves Christmas at Nanas and at Poppy's. Noodle will FINALLY get shaved once we get to Nanas as we shipped our new clippers to her house instead bc it was faster shipping.

In prep for Christmas this year ive taught both boys how to place on baby blankets next to me and ive been muzzle training Daddy solely for everyone elses peace of mind. I know Daddy will be fine but due to the stigma around Pitbulls i always walk in the direction of being cautious. We'll be staying at a hotel this year instead of staying at Nana's bc my sister and my step dad are SUPER allergic to dogs 😅 poor guys i feel bad for them. Im mildly allergic to Daddy's saliva but not enough to bother me daily i just ask him to hide his tongue 👅

Winter has finally arrived!! 🥶❄️⛄️

Noodle and Daddy loooooooove the snow! Dexodus specifically loves to eat it 😆 and Daddy loves to roll and run in it. We've been doing lots of in home training as i hurt my darn foot while doing the one thing i love more then my dogs and myself. Figure skating ⛸️ i ended up damaging my toe and possibly breaking it 😩 so im off the ice for at least 4 weeks till it heals and the toe nail falls off.

Daddy's crate training is going so much better! He finally has a good med regime that helps him be able to settle in the crate when im not home which is helping muchly!! Hopefully soon we'll be able to wean him off some meds bc its not healthy for him to me medicated all the time.

We've been muzzle training Daddy in prep for my cousins dog coming home! Zorzo is afraid of intact males (Dexodus is intact working on getting him fixed next year now that hea FINALLY filled out) however Dexodus will not engage in dog fights or dogs challenging him. He will actively avoid and come find me instead. Daddy however does NOT appreciate dogs picking on his brother so he will stand his ground. He will not initiate a fight or argument but he also refuses to back down once a dog has "threatened" his brother. So we've been muzzle training him for his safety so when we did intro Zorzo with my boys no one would be hurt. It took a few weeks of just doing nightly walks with the boys before Zorzo felt comfy enough to walk shoulder to shoulder with my boys.

Its been about a month of Zorzo being home and i was left with all the boys one night so i decided to muzzle everyone up (minus Dexodus) and go for a walk. All boys did AMAZING and Zorzo didnt react to Dexodus at all!!! He even played with Dexodus!!! That was a first!! Hopefully with more positive training experience with Dexodus Zorzo will be more comfy and actually want to play with them more instead of yell at them 😆

We went to visit our tattoo artist!! She got to meet Daddy for the first time!!

Daddy LOVED meeting her and sure loved frog legging the floor 😆 we drove 2 hours to see her since we live quite a ways away now. It was a good drive though the weather turned a bit halfway there and halfway home. We ran into some freezing rain and snow so we had to drive slower than normal. It toon us an extra half hour to get home but we made it in one piece 🩵

Happy Halloween 🎃

Noodle is getting groomed this week so these are his last furry face photos 😆 also Noodle was so annoyed with Pitter pot bc Noodle looks at me for photos Pit is still learning how to pose his face and ears i guess so it took him a bit to look at me😂😂

We're watching halloween movies then going to town to get some snacks before coming back to hand out candy for the kids 🥰 so far we have watched both The Addams Family & Addams Family Values, next up is Halloween town!

😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 Man its been a busy month.

Our upstairs roomie is moving 🥳 As shes been moving her stuff out of the kitchen and tidying up, i go behind her and deep clean everything and boy is it kinda satisfying. Got counters scrubbed down. Stove tore apart and cleaned, washer/dryer cleaned, bathroom cleaned, floors are being scrubbed (i need a better cleaner), and the boys are learning to be away from me. Specifically Daddy. He HATES when im out of his sight. So me going upstairs to clean is helping teach him that just bc he cant see or hear me doesnt mean im gone forever 🤣

Daddy is doing much better with his crate training!! Ive come home 4 times now to a silent pitter!! He still pulls stuff into his crate if its too close, and occasionally will move his crate slightly but NOTHING like when i first got him!! Im so glad hes finally figuring it out!

Dexodus was MADE to have a brother/sibling. He LOVES having someone that isnt me to play with all the time. They even laid on the bed together and chewed their own chews without pit getting upset!! Huge progress 🥰🥰

Moms bday just passed so we went to the big city to see moms family and go out for lunch. I got to see my auntie Kayla, uncle Jayson, Nana, Papa and so many other people! I miss working for mom daily but i love having the freedom to be a dog.

I make mom train with me more often during the day bc i dont get to go out in public as often as i once did. I love public access training but bc we live an hour away from a decent sized city we typically only go 1-2 times per week.

Ive been teaching my brother how to be a good boy. He still moves his crate a bit BUT hes not breaking out or stealing moms things so thats a plus. Mom cant wait to take us on our first hike together. Shes planning on for early next month! I love hiking with mom! She says we just need to get pit use to wearing hard soled shoes on walks to protect his little pink paw pads from the rough ground we'll be walking on.

Having more time to spend with mom and just adventure is so nice. Now mom just needs more money so we can travel to the mountains 🏔️

Day 1 of having pitter pot with us.

His crate training is going fairly well. Hes still not a fan of being alone however we went from eating in our crate and immediately crying after we are done, to eating in our crate letting out a whine and waiting until i come back into the room to reward. This morning hes also pit himself in his crate to nap!! Which is huge bc he would much prefer to lay with us on the bed!

He seems to like small town living more just like Dexodus and i do. Less hustle and bustle, no one is in a mad panic to get somewhere, tons of fence reactive dogs to practice our own reactivity with, parks, lots of walking trails and lakes around, and fields to run in. The boys seem to be settling in quite nicely.

Our first night wasnt the greatest due to other peoples barking dogs but at least i can nap when everyone else is at work 😆

This weekend we'll work on clearing out the stuff in our house that is the previous owners left so then we can unpack my stuff and make it feel more like home. So excited for this new start 🥰

Welcome Daddy Atlas to the family!!
Age: 3 y/o
Breed: Purebred American Pitbull Terrier
Colour: Tri coloured
Likes: Snacks, Tire tug toy, walkies
Dislikes: Dogs yelling at him, being alone, the fact hes allergic to chimkin.

Hes got some anxiety issues we're working through, we're re crate training him, and hes leash reactive to dogs who react to him. However all these things can be worked on 😁 Hes already doing so well.

Its been getting warmer all week and its gonna be an even hotter one tomorrow!!

That means another pets in the heat awareness post!

-Make sure to check ur patios/decks in ur yards if ur dogs have to go across one to go potty, check the cement walkways of ur house if ur going outside to walk them, and walk them early in the morning or later in the evening once the pavement has had a chance to cool down.

-Dogs can get heat stroke from being outside and even pets kept indoors can get heat stroke when its hot. Flat faced dogs such as pugs, frenchies & bulldogs are more prone to over heating due to their inability to properly get air in and their flat noses.

If ur dog is excessively panting DO NOT give them large amounts of water. Dogs dont sweat as we do they pant to cool down. If they are given too much water while panting it increases the risk of bloat especially the larger deep chested breeds like dobies, rotties, larger poodles, mastiffs. If a dog is over heated Instead of giving them water right away soak towels in cool water and put them on the dog insuring to pour more cool (NOT COLD that will shock the system) water on the towels as they warm up. Once the dog has cooled off and isnt panting as hard or excessively give them small amounts of water. Be sure to research the signs of heat stroke in ur pet so ur aware of when it is time to call a vet.

-Check the walkways outside. If u cannot stand on it barefoot without it burning ur pup cant either. If ur feet are not that sensitive to heat use the back of ur hand and hold it there for 10-15 seconds if u cant its too hot.

-Check the grass they walk on! Yes even the grass gets hot sitting in the sun.

-If u have rubber soled shoes for ur pup, put them on to protect their feet from the hot pavement if u must go out. Pictured on Dexodus. His fancy blue walkin shoes.

-Do not walk ur dog during the hottest parts of the day (usually 11am-6pm) especially if their breed is prone to over heating & heat stroke

-Take frequent breaks & lots of water while the dog is cool

-use cooling coats & bandanas if u have them

-Light coloured dogs with single coats & short coat dogs can also get sunburnt. Use dog approved sunscreen (petsmart has some banana boat sunscreen for dogs) or use a UV protective shirt. Dexodus wears one all the time its his blue Lime shirt pictured last 😆
