Clients :
There are reports of kennel cough going through the city. It's airborne illness that is highly contagious.

Your dogs can experience a dry cough, sound like they’re trying to hack something up, runny nose, sneezing, lethargy etc. It is essentially a flu for dogs and they must be kept hydrated.

If your dog experiences any of these symptoms we kindly ask that you please keep them home and away from other dogs.

Any dogs showing up for daycare, boarding or grooming who are showing any symptoms will be automatically sent home.

If your dog is already here with us owners will be contacted asap.

Keep an eye on your dogs and speak to your vet if you have any concerns.

We kindly ask that you pay attention to our
weekend and holiday drop off and pick up hours for overnight boarding.

Our hours are as follows:
9am-1pm
Or
7pm-8pm

Recently, there’s been a number of pups being dropped off before we open at 9am.
If you show up early you will be asked to wait, as this is effecting staffs schedule

Staff is extremely busy tending to our overnight guests in the morning, which is why we have set times for drop off.

If the air quality becomes bad we will have to put the dogs away, and owners will have the option to pick them up.
Staff will be in contact if that happens.

Ruby Line is on the border of the area that may need to evacuation at short notice, so we aren’t taking any more boarding dogs at this time. We also ask to touch base with us if your dog is currently staying here!

We’ll have an update in the morning if Daycare will be canceled again due to air quality.

Hey folks, with the health and wellbeing of the staff and dogs in mind we have decided to cancel daycare for today. The wildfire smoke in our area is very thick this morning. We will see how the air is again tomorrow morning and update here. Take care everyone and hopefully they can get these fires under control today.
